The point here is this woman gave with all her heart, she gave all she had! Most people give what is left over or what they can care less about, which is little to nothing! Let’s look at what Yeshua said earlier in this chapter about what is most important!

“Yeshua answered, The most important is, ‘Sh’ma Yisra’el, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one], and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding and with all your strength.”
Mark 12:29-30 CJB Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Everything we do needs to revolve around God who loves us with all His heart and has given us everything, so we should do the same!

“Give Adonai His due, you who are godly; give Adonai His due of glory and strength; give Adonai the glory due His name; worship Adonai in holy splendor.”
Psalm 29:1-2 CJB

Are we totally submitted to God in everything, or do we hold back? This woman gave, holding back nothing, Yeshua gave all holding back nothing and we should do the same!

The thought here is not using prayer like a Genie in a bottle to get all our wants, but use prayer to move the mountains of salvation to grow the Kingdom of Heaven!

“Others are those sown among thorns-they hear the message; but the worries of the world, the deceitful glamor of wealth and all the other kinds of desires push in and choke the message; so that it produces nothing.”
Mark 4:18-19 CJB

Don’t be like those who hear the message of salvation, but fall back into worldliness looking for God to grant them fame and wealth to promote selfish desires! We need to be all about glorifying Adonai!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

As we pray and call upon Adonai, let’s make our prayers about glorifying God!

“Yeshua looked at them and said, Humanly, it is impossible, but not with God; with God, everything is possible.”

Here we see Yeshua speaking of salvation and how the only way to be saved is by the grace of God and His free gift of salvation! The other thing we can see here, which is also important, is that God can do things in our lives that would seem in reality impossible, but with God all things are possible when we walk in His ways!

“Then delight yourself in Adonai, and He will give you your heart’s desire.”
Psalm 37:4 CJB

When we delight ourselves in Adonai, He will put His desires in our heart! When we are walking in His desires, we will see the impossible become possible!

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

Today, know when we are committed to Adonai, He will do amazing things that seem impossible in our lives. All we need to do is trust in Him!

How true this statement can be for us, we believe with all our heart that Yeshua is LORD! But we can get into situations where we believe, but we lack faith or trust that God is going to get us through or out of our present situation! We make statements like “Maybe for some one else, like that is going to happen or not in this life time.” We need to pray the same way Help my unbelief and then just trust!

“Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 CJB

God’s purpose is really His perfect plan! We really need to trust He has it all covered even in the situation we may be in, no matter how hopeless it may seem!

“But I trust in Your grace, my heart rejoices as You bring me to safety.”
Psalm 13:5 CJB

Realize, no matter what, God is the only one who can save you!

The point here is, even if you had everything you think you should have fame, fortune and everything you think that goes with it! It still wouldn’t benefit you! Why? Because ten out of ten people die and you can’t take it with you! What you really need is Yeshua (Jesus) and His Salvation!

“He said, Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will return there. Adonai gave; Adonai took; blessed be the name of Adonai.”
Job 1:21 CJB

Here we see as Job lost all, he makes the statement he came in with nothing and he will leave with nothing! But, he knew that it is really all about Adonai!

“What could a person give in exchange for his life?”
Mark 8:37 CJB

The answer is we can give nothing! All we can do is repent and turn our lives over to God and bless His Holy Name, actually it’s what we get to do!
