“Then the LORD said to Noah, Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.” Genesis 7:1

Why is Noah called righteous? Because he exercised faith, God told Him to build an ark and Noah responded by building a ark!

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

Often times the LORD calls us to things that look completely impossible! Ask Noah build a ark, Moses part the Red Sea, Joshua take down Jericho and David take down Goliath! These are just a few of the examples we have in scripture to encourage us in our own trials and obstacles!

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

Right now you maybe looking at or going through a situation that seems impossible! Remember the LORD is right there with you and He will get you through! All we have to do is exercise our faith in the LORD, trusting and knowing that He will see you through! Know this today that the LORD started a work in you and through you and He will complete it! Have a blessed day.

“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, And indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on earth.” Genesis 6:11-12

This really sounds like things today, yes we have violence that fills the world! We have corruption on every level! From personal people, workplaces and politics; which corrupts our homes, schools, businesses, governments and even churches! The world speaks of tolerance but all we have is intolerance!

“For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles – when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties and abominable idolatries.” 1 Peter 4:3

What we need to do is check ourselves and make a choice to walk in the ways of the LORD, not the ways of the world! Which all of us can easily fall into. Let us seek His will, His way by being in His word!

“Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways.” Psalm 128:1

Today let us really look to the LORD, listen to the LORD and do His will! Walk in His ways not get in His way! Have a blessed day!

“You are My witnesses, Says the LORD, And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there as no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. Isaiah 43:10

We need to realize God has no competition, no one is equal to Him! He alone is in control of all things and He is totally focused us!

“For the LORD is our Judge, The LORD is our Lawgiver, Th LORD is our King; He will save us.” Isaiah 33:22

What a great comfort this should be the creator of the universe is totally focused on us and our well being! Our cares and worries are His, our hope and dreams matter to Him!

“And now, LORD, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.” Psalm 39:7

Today we can have all kinds of things that can make us crazy! Don’t let it, remember the LORD is focused on you, so let us just rest in Him and place all our cares upon Him! Realize we are His chosen, so let us hope in Him! Have a blessed day!

Simcha Torah

“I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As light to the Gentiles.” Isaiah 42:6

As the LORD came to set us free from the darkness of sin, so to are we called to be lights in a dark world! Shinning the glorious reflection of salvation to those around us!

“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”

Psalm 119:105

To be a light all we have to do is follow His word, it directs us, corrects us and comforts us! Being in His word gives us the light we need to navigate this dark world!

“But you are a chosen generation, a royals priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

So today as it is Simcha Torah (rejoice in the His word) let us do what it says be lights in a dark world! Have a blessed day.

“And as for Seth, to Him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the LORD.”

Genesis 4:26

This is what we need today men calling on the name of the LORD, all men! How bad do things have to get before people realize that the LORD is the only solution to the problems of the world!

“In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.” Psalm 86:7

The LORD will answer when we call! Try calling almost any help desk and does a person answer or a machine and do you actually get help? That’s not how the LORD works we call He answers, when we call on Him with a humble heart, not like He is some kind if genie in a bottle!

“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer. Psalm 4:1

Today let us be praying for those in need of salvation around us, Because that is what the world desperately needs now! All men, woman and children calling out to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! No one else can even come close to what the LORD can and will do! Have a blessed day in Jesus!
