The LORD is full of mercy!

“You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy.”

Exodus 26:34

As you read this chapter you can begin to realize the work that went into the building of the wilderness Tabernacle. Anytime we are working on a major work project or just life in general we can have issues! Where we will need Mercy!

“Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.” Psalm 123:3

As we trudge through this thing called life, realize like our Hebrew brothers here in Exodus we can and do get overwhelmed with the world around us! We can and do stumble getting into all kinds of trouble. That’s when we need to look to the testimonies of the LORD and bask in His mercy!

“Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

So today as you are trudging and stumbling through life! Remember the LORD has you covered and He is full of mercy and grace! Have a blessed day looking to Him and for Him!

Living sacrifice!

“Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.” Exodus 25:2

The LORD desires us to give with a willing heart! Not just our finances and services, but He desires us to give ourselves as well.

“I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourself as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him; it is logical worship for you.” Romans 12:1 CJB

Offering ourselves to the LORD is our reasonable service to Him! The LORD is asking us to simply just serve Him! He wants to be full of life and joy as we serve Him!

“Serve the LORD with gladness, Come before His presence with singing.” Psalm 100:2

Today let us have a willing heart to just serve the LORD, give to Him all we have! Realize we can’t out give Him! So let us have a blessed day serving Him!

Follow the LORD!

“As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me, So he arose and followed Him.” Mark 2:14

No matter what your situation is the LORD is calling you to follow Him! Don’t make excuses, life is really to short and the LORD is calling you and me.

“He who follows righteousness and mercy Finds life, righteousness and honor.” Proverbs 21:21

When we follow after the LORD, we will find all we are looking for! He has everything we need, He is life!

“My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.” Psalm 63:8

Today let us follow the LORD; not the news, politics or the person with good views! Jesus has all we really need and we can find all we are looking for in Him! So get into His word today and walk in His ways! Have a blessed day!

Spend time with the LORD!

“Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” Mark 1:35

We all need to take some time in our day to spend with the LORD, Jesus did! Spending time with the LORD should be a priority in our lives, but often times we fail, we get to busy or distracted.

“My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.”

Psalm 5:3

Often times when life seems to be getting out of control, the reason usually is a lack of time with the LORD! Don’t be to busy or distracted from spending time with the LORD in prayer!

“LORD, I cry out to You; Make haste to me! Give ear to my voice when I cry out to You.” Psalm 141:1

The idea hear is to cry out to the LORD, all the time not just when crisis hits. The best advice anyone can give is to get into the practice of spending time with the LORD! We all need hear and heed that advice! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD! Shabbat Shalom!

The LORD keeps His promises!

“But afterward, they changed their minds; they made the male and female slaves, whom they had freed, return; and they brought them back into subjection as slaves.”

Jeremiah 34:11 CJB

Here we see the Hebrew people make a promise to the LORD and then break it, by putting the freed slaves back into slavery their own people! How often do we make a promise to the LORD and then break it! How often do we put our brothers and sisters in bondage by what we say and do?

“Peter said to Him, Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You! And so said all the disciples.” Matthew 26:35

We know what happens next Jesus goes and prays the soldiers come and the disciples run! What I hope we can take from this today is; before we make statements or promises lets pray! As we are praying, let us also wait for an answer from the LORD! His will be done!

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9

Today let us be careful of making promises, instead let us stand firm in His promises. WHY? Because He keeps them, you and I not so much! Have a blessed day praying and waiting on the LORD!
