“Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there as a witness against you;” Deuteronomy 31:26

This may sound kind of harsh, but we need this same reminder! Have your bible on hand have it near you, not to look at but to get into read and take in! To instruct you and guide you through out the day!

“Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.” Psalm 119:11

Often times we may be at a place were we don’t know what to do or where to turn! Every situation and scenario we can think of is covered in the word of God! Unfortunately spending time with the LORD and in His word is the last priority of the day. We don’t have enough time!

“Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.” Psalm 5:1-3

Today make time to spend with the LORD, it will be the best part of your day! We all get busy and have things to do, realize what ever it is it can wait! Make it a priority to spend time alone with Him and in His word! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD!

“The LORD God Himself crosses over before you; He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them, Joshua himself crosses over before you, just as the LORD has said.” Deuteronomy 31:3

Two things here the LORD always goes before us and deals with the problems, then He chooses who goes next, Joshua! Reading the story of the the ten spies it would seem Caleb would be the better choice! But remember the LORD chooses! Know this, He has chosen you and me!

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.”
1 Corinthians 1:27

When the LORD sends us out its to exercise our faith and to show His faithfulness! He does things in ways were He gets the glory and we get blessed and blown away by His amazing love and strength!

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

So today know this the LORD is sending you out, but He has and is going before us, also He will be with you every step of the way! So be strong and of good courage! Have a blessed day!

“They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.”
John 17:16

This is something we all need to understand, we are not of this world so lets not get caught up in it! Once we realize this, the more we will be able to do the LORD’s will!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

The LORD really does want to us to be caught up in His will and His purposes in life! Sadly we allow the events happening around us dictate our lives a instead of the LORD!

“But the LORD is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Even when we blow it the LORD is still faithful to keep us safe, He protects us from the garbage in this world! Today lets try not to get caught up in it, but be caught up in the LORD instead!

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.” Jude 1:24

Realize today you don’t belong to the world, but to the LORD who is faithful! Have a blessed day in Him!

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

We do have a lot of things going down in the world hurricanes, earthquakes, rumors of wars and civil unrest! You can’t turn on the news and not see some disaster going on maybe even in your own life! Jesus said in the world you will have tribulation, but in Him peace!

“Then He said, Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD. And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; 12. and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire and after the fire a still small voice.”
1 Kings 19:11-12

In the HEBREW a still small voice or whisper is not there! It reads God was in the SILENCE, absolute quiet! While the world may seem to be loudly falling apart around us! Often times what we need to do is be quiet and just listen for the LORD, take a deep breath and wait!

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10

Be still in Hebrew really means “drop it let it go” today we can get caught up in all kinds of trials and tribulations, that only cause us to have anxiety! Being loud and making all kinds of noise! The LORD wants us to have peace and peace (Shalom) can only be found in Him! Have a blessed day listening and waiting for the LORD! Shabbat Shalom!

‘In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old.” Isaiah 63:9

This really should comfort us today, knowing no matter what we are going through the LORD really feels our pain! When we fall or stumble, He is always there waiting for us to pick us up when we call out to Him!

“As for me, I will call upon God; And the LORD shall save me.” Psalm 55:16

We all go through times of depression, pain and confusion in life! Having the feeling of despair, feeling lost and broken!

“The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:18

The good news is the LORD is not only with us, He knows how we feel, because He bore all these things for us when He was nailed to the cross for us!

“The LORD is near to ALL who call upon Him, To ALL who call upon Him in truth.” Psalm 145:18

Today rest assure the LORD is waiting for us like a parent waiting for their children to catch up to them while walking! And He is right there when we call! Have a blessed day with the LORD!
