“Jesus said to him, If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.” John 21:22

What a great word for us! You follow Me! Often times we get caught up in what other people are doing or not doing! Instead of just focusing on what the LORD is doing in and through you.

“So, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed when I was with you, it is even more important that you obey now when I am away from you: keep working out your deliverance with fear and trembling, for God is the one working among you both the willing and the working for what pleases Him.” Philippians 2:12-13 CJB

We need to be more concerned about our walks with the LORD than trying to work on other people or trying to workout their salvation! We need to lead by example! Our speech need’s to reflect our walk, and our walk need’s to reflect our speech!

“But if you go on snapping at each other and tearing each other to pieces, watch out, or you will be destroyed by each other.” Galatians 5:15 CJB

The LORD wants us to love each other, correct when its necessary and it’s not always necessary!

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:11

Today let us concern ourselves with how our walk is with the LORD and just love those around us! Have a blessed day Following the LORD!

Shabbat Shalom

“So Jesus said to them again, Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” John 20:21

The LORD wants us to walk in His peace (Shalom) not world peace but His peace! Often we get caught up in all kinds of conflict sometimes daily, trying to get people to think and believe like us! Don’t! Just walk in His ways! Do what the LORD has called you to do!

“O LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me.” Psalm 5:8

We will always find that even when we are in conflict with other people, if we just concern ourselves more with how our walk is going, it will always work out better! You can’t fix the other guy if you still need fixing yourself!

“Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways.” Psalm 128:1

Let us walk in His ways, not get in His way! The LORD will bring people to you when we actually walk the way the LORD is leading you through His word, than trying to convince them by your instructing! May the peace (Shalom) of the LORD be upon you today! Shabbat Shalom!

“And he said: The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;”
2 Samuel 22:2

Where do we run to when the world seems to be pressing down on us? When life is falling apart, do we go to the bank, doctor or family first? Here King David states the LORD is His Rock, the same thing Moses stated in Deuteronomy 32! Theses are men who knew a thing or two about trials and adversaries!

“The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence.” 2 Samuel 22:3

As we see the world around us falling apart fires, earthquakes, storms and violence. We need to more than ever trust in the LORD, knowing that He is the only one who can save us!

“I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.” 2 Samuel 22:4

Just like Moses and David who knew about trials and the world falling apart around them! They not only called on the LORD, they praised Him knowing that He is the only one who can really save! Today let us do the same, praising the LORD and putting all our hope in Him! Have a blessed day!

Rosh HaShana

“And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. For you it is a day of blowing the trumpets.” Numbers 29:1

The trumpet blowing here is an alarm a call an awakening in Hebrew its Yom Teruah (day of trumpets). When we hear the call we should take it as a time to reflect, a day of seeking the LORD and making some much needed changes in our lives!

“Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55:6

Rosh Hashana, which is being spoken of here is the Jewish Spiritual New Year! A New Year is a great way to make resolutions to change things in our lives, diet, weight lose and habits. We all do it on the calendar date of January 1st; Here we see a spiritual New Year, were we can reflect on our past year’s successes and messes! If you want to make a change to who you are in the LORD, study His word and implement it in your daily life, and pray to the LORD to remove the undesirable traits. You can’t do it yourself, we need the LORD!

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Today hear the trumpet blast! Ask are you ready for what the LORD has? How does your coming year look? Are you going to keep hanging onto the old stuff that dragging you down? Or are we going to look forward to what the LORD is doing and going to do! Have a blessed day and Shana Tova (a good New Year)

“He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him as the apple of His eye.” Deuteronomy 32:10

Here we see Moses and the children of Israel at the end of the forty years of wandering and they made it through the terrible wilderness by the hand of the LORD! During that time the LORD instructed them, taught them on how to live and how to walk with the Him!

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

But did they listen? Before you answer ask do we? Like the children of Israel we blow it daily! We do what we want, we get angry we and get ourselves into all kinds of trouble, in other words we blow it! So glad that even when we are unfaithful He is faithful. So thankful that we are the apple of His eye!

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
1 Peter 2:9

Today know this, no matter how rough it is out there, the LORD has you covered and is going to get us through! Have a blessed day being His special chosen people, proclaiming His good news of salvation!
