Life happens

“Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his territory; so Israel turned away from him.”

Numbers 20:21

Two things here; first if Moses was just following the LORD and the pillar, the cloud of smoke and fire that God had set before them, he wouldn’t need permission from Edom. So follow the LORD, not the world.

“You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.”

Deuteronomy 13:4

Secondly; we also can look at this obstacle as a way the LORD directs us from disaster. Often times in life we can lose a job, have health issues or financial problems. Then you feel like you have to go the long way around! Realize when these obstacles of life appear it maybe the LORD saving you from a bigger disaster!

“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.”

Psalm 1:1-2

Life happens, but if we are following hard after the LORD, you will be blessed and know that when we follow the LORD, He is always saving us from even bigger disasters! Have a blessed day in the LORD!

The LORD is life!

“He who touches the dead body of anyone shall be unclean seven days.”

Numbers 19:11

The Lord really doesn’t want us messing with things that represent the Dead or that will bring death upon us! He desires us to make right life style choices and walk in His ways!

Psalms 119:11 (NKJV) Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.

When we walk in His ways it will always fill us with life! Walking in the was of the world will always fill us with confusion, destruction and death. The LORD wants us to be full of His life not the worlds death.

Psalms 19:9 (NKJV) The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

Don’t mess with Dead things! Have a blessed day!

Live for the LORD

“For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him.”

Luke 20:38

We are to be living for the LORD, not the world. Unfortunately today folks are living for the world not the LORD and there are preachers who are willing to preach that today!

“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the LORD who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:1

We need to be a people who are just living and shining for the LORD, making sure all we say and do glorifies Him.

“You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus.”

1 Peter 2:5

So today we need to be living and shining for the LORD not the world. Have a blessed day in Him.

Check yourself

“Saying to them, It is written, ‘MY HOUSE IS A HOUSE OF PRAYER’, but you have made it a ‘DEN OF THIEVES.’ “

Luke 19:56

Do we do this today also make the place of meeting and teaching a house of stealing and prophet! It is sad that people make Churches and Synagogues places for self promoting and personal gain, instead of worship and prayer!

“Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

Isaiah 56:7

This is a good thing for us all to do, take a deep look inside ourselves to see if we have a right heart. Look to see if our desire is for the LORD and not for ourselves! When we put the LORD first, our needs and desires always seem to fall in place!

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

Psalm 51:10

Today let us take time to reflect, inspect and let the LORD correct what needs to be corrected in our hearts and minds!

Have a blessed day seeking the LORD!

The LORD loves you.

“And they said, The LORD has need of him.”

Luke 19:34

What a awesome reminded to know that the LORD has need of you and I! Why because of our special skills? No, because He loves us!

“The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Zephaniah 3:17

Know this no matter what the situation’s you have going on around you are. Remember the LORD loves you and needs you because He loves you.

“My heart clings to you; your right hand supports me.”

Psalm 63:8

Have a blessed day know I got the needs you because He loves you.
