“But He answered him not one word, so that the governor marveled greatly.”

Matthew 27:14

Sometimes it’s better if we say nothing, we really don’t need to give an answer for everything! Often times it would be better if we just bite our tongue so to speak!

“But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.”

James 3:8-10

Being silent often times can be a good thing, we don’t ever have to take back what we don’t say! How often do we either have to walk back, take back or apologize for something we said or posted?

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 46:10

Today, remember we represent the LORD, so let us take the time to pray before we speak or comment on things! Let us be still, be silent and pray! Have a blessed day watching, listening and praying!

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Isaiah 9:6

As we look around the world today, we all have to admit that there is very little resemblance of peace! Unrest is everywhere. Look at Venezuela, with no food on shelves; France were middle class can’r afford gas; caravans coming through Central America and the division in the United States. These are just a few of the things happening world wide! Realize, if we are looking at unrest, it will leave us distressed and depressed! We really need to look to the LORD and reflect His light.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

John 14:27

The world around us is really unrestful and unstable, and it is getting worse, as Jesus said it would (Read Matthew 24)! What should we do? Don’t panic and don’t stress. Yes, we see messes around us and we may even be in one. Look at it as an opportunity to reflect the glorious light of the LORD!

“Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16

Remember, we have the hope of heaven and the world around us is filled with no hope! We have the light of Jesus and the promise that one day His government will be perfect, He is the Prince of Peace! So may His Shalom (Peace) be upon you today, have a blessed day reflecting His Peace!

“Also I heard the voice of the LORD, saying: Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us? Then I said, Here am I! Send me.”

Isaiah 6:8

Many of us hear the call to go to and share the good news of salvation, but when rejection happens we can get discouraged and give up!

“And He said, Go, and tell this people: Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.”

Isaiah 6:9

When the LORD sends us out, which happens everyday we walk out our door. We need to realize, that rejection will happen, not everyone will receive the LORD! Do we stop? No, we keep pressing forward, don’t give up, even on those who say no!

“Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 1:21

Understand, life is full of obstacles, mountains and detours what we need to do is keep pressing forward towards the goal line, which is eternity with Jesus! Don’t let temporary setbacks get you down! Remember, the LORD asked: “Whom shall I send?” Why not you and me? Have a blessed day pushing forward in the LORD!
