God saves

“Suddenly, as they were walking on and talking, there appeared a fiery chariot with horses of fire; and as it separated the two of them from each other. Eliyahu went up into heaven in a whirlwind.”
2 Kings 2:11 CJB

Here we see Elliyahu taken into heaven by the most awesome war machine of that time horses and a chariot! Why? To show the awesome power and protection of God!

“Adonai protects all who love Him, but all the wicked He destroys.”
Psalm 145:20 CJB

God protects and saves all His own no matter what the world tries to do to us!

“He saves, rescues, does signs and wonders both in heaven and on earth. He delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.”
Daniel 6:28 CJB

All we have to do is look to our past and see how God has saved us and protected us. So we should know that He will do the same in our present and in our future!
Have a blessed day knowing God will protect us!

Seek God

“They answered him, A man came to meet us. He told us to return to the king who sent us, and tell him, Here is what Adonai says: Is it because there’s no God in Israel that you’re sending to consult Baal-Z’vuv the god of Ekron? Therefore you will never leave the bed you are lying on; you will certainly die.”
2 Kings 1:6 CJB

What we should see here is when we run after false gods we will always be let down and disappointed!

“All who worship images will be put to shame, those who make their boast in worthless idols. Bow down to Him, all you gods.”
Psalm 97:7 CJB

To avoid earthly disasters, seek God and not false worldly gods which lead to destruction!

“As my life was ebbing away, I remembered Adonai; and my prayer came in to You, into Your holy temple.”
Jonah 2:8 CJB verse 7 in other translations.

As Jonah was being swallowed by the giant fish, he didn’t seek worldly gods, but the creator of the universe! So seek God in every situation and stay away from worldly gods!
Have a blessed day seeking Adonai!

Can’t hide from God

“The king of Israel said to Y’hoshafat, I will disguise myself and go into battle; but you, put on your robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.”
1 Kings 22:30 CJB

Even though Ahab repented, there were still consequences for sin! He thought he could disguise himself to get away it, but you can’t hide from God!

“The eyes of Adonai are everywhere, watching the evil and the good.”
Proverbs 15:3 CJB

Adonai sees it all and knows it all, so we need to be careful of thinking we can get away with sin! We can’t!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

Be careful of trying to disguise your sin or think your covering things up before Adonai! Instead be open with Him in prayer!
Have a blessed day!
