Grafted in

“But now I have chosen Yerushalayim, so that My name can be there; and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.”
2 Chronicles 6:6 CJB

I love the fact that God shows us throughout scripture that Jerusalem and Israel are His, it is a people (Jewish people) and a geographic location (Israel)! The good news is we are “Grafted In” because of the grace of God!

“Great is Adonai and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, His holy mountain, beautiful in its elevation, the joy of all the earth, Mount Tziyon, in the far north, the city of the great king.”
Psalm 48:1-2 CJB

This is why we need to pray for God’s holy city and His people which includes you and I!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

What a great reminder for us, we are chosen by God to be part of His chosen people and nation, by His amazing grace!
Have a blessed day knowing you are part of God’s Kingdom!

God directs

“There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets Moshe put there at Horev, when Adonai made the covenant with the people of Israel at the time of their leaving Egypt.”
2 Chronicles 5:10 CJB

Interesting. God saves Israel from Egypt(the world), then gives them His perfect commands on how to live! Same for us. He saves us from the world and gives us His perfect instructions on how to live! How?

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

God gives us His word on how to walk uprightly so we don’t have to stumble through life!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and a light on My path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

God is so good that He covers us with His hand of salvation and His word to direct our paths!
Have a blessed day following Him!

Make God your priority

“Shlomo made so many of these objects that the total wight of the bronze could not be determined.”
2 Chronicles 4:18 CJB

What we see here is the great concern for worshipping God and the care that Solomon put into it! How much effort do we put into worshipping God?

“Their delight is in Adonai’s Torah; on His Torah they meditate day and night.”
Psalm 1:2 CJB

We always have a choice in life. We can take one step forward in Adonai or one step backwards in the world! What is our priority?

“For Adonai watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked is doomed.”
Psalm 1:6 CJB

So let’s make Adonai our priority today!
May your day be richly blessed!

God guides

“Then Shlomo began to build the house of Adonai in Yerushalayim on Mount Moriyah, where Adonai had appeared to David his father. Provision had been made for this at the place David had chosen, the threshing-floor of Ornan the Y’vusi (Jebusite).”
2 Chronicles 3:1 CJB

I find it interesting that the Temple is built on Mount Moriyah the same mountain that Abraham took Isaac to (Genesis 22:2) to offer him up as a sacrifice, but then stopped by God! It’s also the same mount that Yeshua sacrificed Himself on for us! The word Moriyah means nothing in English, but it is two words in Hebrew! Mori-Yah, Moray= teacher or guide and Yah means God, so we see here God is my teacher and or guide!

“Teach me to do Your will, because you are my God. Let Your Good Spirit guide me on ground that is level.”
Psalm 143:10 CJB

We need to look at every situation in life, good or bad, as a way that God is guiding or trying to teach us His perfect ways!

“The way of the righteous is level; Righteous One, You smooth the path for the righteous.”
Isaiah 26:7 CJB

So understand if you are hitting obstacles or just rough times, it may be God trying to teach you or guide you into His perfect path!
Have a blessed day accepting the trials you may be in!

Be givers

“Huram continued, Blessed be Adonai, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, who has given David the king a wise, knowledgeable son with common sense to build a house for Adonai and a royal palace for himself.”
2 Chronicles 2:11 CJB verse 12 in other translations.

God will always bless when we are a blessing to others! We need to be givers, hearers and doers of the Word of God!

“Each should give according to what he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 CJB

In other words, when we give it’s to glorify and elevate our God! It also keeps us from being selfish! Adonai wants us to be cheerful and generous givers, giving freely of what we have time, money or His knowledge!

“Adonai did great things with us; and we are overjoyed.”
Psalm 126:3 CJB

So let’s be givers today, because it is the wisest thing we can do!
Have a blessed day giving as Yeshua gave to us!
