Examine me

“May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be acceptable in your presence, Adonai, my Rock and Redeemer.”
Psalm 19:14 CJB

We all need to check the words we say and the thoughts of our heart to see if they are acceptable to God!

“Examine me, God, and know my heart; test me, and know my thoughts.”
Psalm 139:23 CJB

What a great prayer, instead of asking God for things, we should ask Him to check us and correct us if necessary!

“Adonai, correct me, but in moderation, not in your anger, or you’ll reduce me to nothing.”
Jeremiah 10:24 CJB

Today, let’s be mindful of what we say and think, then ask Adonai to correct any ungodly thing we say, think or do!
Have a blessed day seeking Him!

God is all we need

“I love You, Adonai, my strength!”
Psalm 18:2 CJB

So thankful that the creator of the universe is what strengthens us! Not the world and any of its dishonest trappings!

“Adonai is my Rock, my fortress and deliverer, my God, my Rock, in whom I find shelter, my shield, the power that saves me, my stronghold.”
Psalm 18:3 CJB

Is God your everything? Is He all you need? The reality is God should be everything to us, because He really is all we need!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB

Today, let’s be believers who call on Adonai for everything! Why? Because He is our everything!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Cry out to God

“Hear a just cause, Adonai, heed my cry; listen to my prayer from honest lips.”
Psalm 17:1 CJB

This Psalm was written by David, probably when Saul was out to get him! So we see when we are backed up against the wall, like David was, we find our prayers are honest and sincere! We pray honest, direct prayers when the trials are real!

“Adonai is close to all who call on Him, to all who sincerely call on Him.”
Psalm 145:18 CJB

I believe God allows trials to happen to us, not to punish us, but to put us in a place to draw closer unto Him!

“Come close to God, and He will come close to you. Clean your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded people!”
James 4:8 CJB

Today, no matter how tough things may be, we will always be better off drawing closer to God!
Have a blessed day!

God is all we need!

“Protect me, God, for you are my refuge.”
Psalm 16:1 CJB

God is and should be our everything! He protects us and He is our refuge!

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1 CJB

The world around us is rapidly getting out of control! We now, more than ever, need God! The world desperately needs God!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

Today, know that God is our refuge, shield and our strength, not our genie in a bottle, but He is everything we really need! It is all God and God alone!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Be United with Adonai

“Adonai, who can rest in Your tent? Who can live on Your holy mountain?”
Psalm 15:1 CJB

The answer is really no one can! But as we read on we’ll see how God plans it!

“Those who live a blameless life, who behave uprightly, who speak truth from their hearts and keep their tongue from slander; who never do harm to others or seek to discredit neighbors; who look with scorn on the vile, but honor those who fear Adonai; who hold to an oath, no matter the cost; who refuse usury when they lend money and refuse a bribe to damage the innocent. Those who do these things never will be moved.”
Psalm 15:2-5 CJB

This is near impossible to do on our own, but when we are united with Yeshua then it is possible! When we are walking and talking with Adonai then His hearts desires become ours!

“Also we have come to know and trust the love that God has for us. God is love; and those who remain in this love remain united with God, and God remains united with them.”
1 John 4:16 CJB

Today, the best way to live is to emerge ourselves in Adonai and wash ourselves daily in His word, not just hearing it but doing it also!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!
