Follow Adonai

“For three years they strengthened the kingdom and made Rechav`am the son of Slomo strong, because for three years they followed the way of life of David and Shlomo.”
2 Chronicles 11:17 CJB

Why was Rehoboam successful for three years? Because he followed the ways of David and Solomon, who followed Adonai! Success is in Adonai!

“How happy is everyone who fears Adonai, who lives by His ways.”
Psalm 128:1 CJB

The idea here isn’t to fear Adonai, but fear walking without Him! Going through life without Adonai should really be scary! We need Adonai in every aspect of our lives!

“Blessed is the man who trusts Adonai; Adonai will be his security.”
Jeremiah 17:7 CJB

We really need to simply just trust in Adonai in everything! Why? Let’s read the next verse to answer that!

“He will be like a tree planted near water; it spreads out its roots by the river; it does not notice when heat comes; and its foliage is luxuriant; it is not anxious in a year of drought but keeps on yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:8 CJB

So when we trust in Adonai we will be fruitful, when we allow the deceptions of the world it will lead us into disaster!
Have a blessed day following Adonai!

Seek Adonai

“The young men he had grown up with said to him, The people who said to you, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy, but you, make it lighter for us’-here’s the answer you should give them: ‘My little finger is thicker than my father’s waist!”
2 Chronicles 10:10 CJB

This is a problem we have today, young people with no experience making uneducated decisions, but on the other side we have older people not helping younger people so they can! The answer is we need Adonai to direct both the young and the old!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
Psalm 105:4 CJB

When we have no experience or wisdom we should be careful of speaking, but instead we should spend more time listening, learning and seeking the LORD!

“Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously and without reproach; and it will be given to him.”
James 1:5 CJB

When we don’t know what to say or do, seek Adonai and His wisdom and He will guide and direct!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Serve with joy

“How happy your people must be, how happy these servants of yours who are always here attending you and get to hear your wisdom!”
2 Chronicles 9:7 CJB

When we serve Adonai, people will notice and see the good He is doing through you and want to be part of it!

“This has come from Adonai, and in our eyes it is amazing.”
Psalm 118:23 CJB

Are we looking to see the amazing things that Adonai is doing or are we looking to the disasters of the world?

“Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by; I am doing something new; it’s springing up-can’t you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland, for My chosen people to drink, the people I formed for myself, so that they would proclaim My praise.”
Isaiah 43:19-21 CJB

We were made to praise Adonai and glorify Him in all things! So let’s just do that today!
Have a blessed day glorifying Adonai!

Decent and in order!

“All the work of Shlomo was organized in this way from the day ground was broken for the house of Adonai until everything has been accomplished, and the house of Adonai has been completed.”
2 Chronicles 8:16 CJB

When we do things for Adonai everything should be done decently and in order! The way God does everything, decently and in order!

“For God is not a God of unruliness but of shalom. As in all the congregations of God’s people.”
1 Corinthians 14:33 CJB

Understand God desires us to be orderly and peaceful, not chaotic like the unbelieving world is!

“But let all things be done in a proper and orderly way.”
1 Corinthians 14:40 CJB

So let’s be believers that do things decently and in order like our God is!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Seek God’s glory

“All the people of Israel saw when the fire came down, and the glory of Adonai was on the house; they bowed down with their faces to the ground on the flooring; prostrating themselves, they gave thanks to Adonai, For He is good, for His grace continues forever.”
2 cChronicles 7:3 CJB

Do we look to see how good Adonai is and the great things He is doing? Or do we look at all the negative and rotten things the world is doing?

“Give thanks to Adonai; for He is good, for His grace continues forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34 CJB

Things are always going to be better when we are seeking God’s glory!

“My mouth is full of praise for You, filled with Your glory all day long.”
Psalm 71:8 CJB

What is your mouth full of, God’s glory and praise, or the complaints and vileness of the World?
Let our mouths be full of His praises!
