We all are like sheep that have gone astray doing our own thing. We should be thankful that the Creator of the Universe took all our guilt upon Himself!

“We all, like sheep, went astray; we turned, each one, to his own way; yet Adonai laid on Him the guilt of all of us.”
Isaiah 53:6 CJB

The reality is we all go astray and we all do our own thing often, which leads us to all kinds of trouble! So we all need a Saviour to save us from ourselves!

“Adonai is my Rock, my Fortress and Deliver, my God, my Rock, in whom I find shelter, my Shield, the Power that saves me, my Stronghold.”
Psalm 18:3 CJB

Is God your everything? Or do you think you can rely on your own strength, health, finances or intellect? If your answer is yes to any of these, then God isn’t your everything! No matter what let’s drop what ever we think is under our control and just give it all to the Good Shepherd Yeshua!

God isn’t saying be holy like some abnormal over pious person! He’s asking us to be holy (not ordinary) like the rest of the unbelieving world! He wants us to be special, set apart for Him!

“Because you are a people set apart as holy for Adonai your God. Adonai your God. Adonai your God has chosen you to be His own unique treasure out of all the peoples on the face of the earth.”
Deuteronomy 14:2 CJB

God saves us to be set apart from worldliness and wants us to live a God fearing special life! How? By seeking Him!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
1 Chronicles 16:11 CJB

When we seek Adonai, we will always be filled with His strength and be set apart for His work!

Patience is always a hard thing especially when we live in a society that wants everything, wanting it all and wanting it now!

“You too, be patient; keep up your courage; for the LORD’S return is near.”
James 5:8 CJB

Everyday that passes brings us one day closer to Adonai! Our problem is we focus on the here and now, with all its daily problems, like taxes, health and political situations instead of focusing on God! We always need to put God first!

“Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God; there is no other.”
Isaiah 45:22 CJB

The best way to exercise patience is to keep your eyes focused on Adonai!

It’s not run or flee from the Adversary, it’s submit to God and the Adversary will flee!

“Humble yourselves before the LORD, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:10 CJB

When we are submitted and humble before Adonai, it is He who will do all the work and defending of His people!

“Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the right time He may lift you up.”
1 Peter 5:6 CJB

We all really need to be humble and submitted unto God! Not getting caught up in all the trials and tribulations happening in the world around us! Submit and the Adversary will flee!
