Love

“We were so devoted to you that we were glad to share with you not only God’s Good News but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.”
1 Thessalonians 2:8 CJB

Are we devoted to other believers? Are we excited about the good things that God is doing through them? We should be!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

God requires us to love and to be honest, loving people. It is always easier than hating!

“Yes, this is the command we have from Him: whoever loves God must love his brother too.”
1 John 4:21 CJB

There is enough hate and anger in the world, so let’s be about loving and sharing the love of God with others!
May your day be richly blessed and filled with opportunities to love!
Shabbat Shalom!

We are created and chosen!

“We know, brothers, that God has loved and chosen you.”
1 Thessalonians 1:4 CJB

This is so comforting to know that God loves us and has chosen us to be His!

“In the Messiah He chose us in love before the creation of the universe to be holy without defect in His presence.”
Ephesians 1:4 CJB

This still amazes me that the creator of the Universe not only made us but chooses us to be His Royal Priesthood!

“I thank you because I am awesomely made, wonderfully; your works are wonders-I know this very well.”
Psalm 139:14 CJB

Adonai has perfectly and wonderfully made us to worship Him, to glorify Him and to proclaim His Good News of Salvation!
So let’s do it!
May your day be richly blessed in Him!

Pray

“Keep persisting in prayer, staying alert in it and being thankful.”
Colossians 4:2 CJB

We need to be consistent in prayer and be alert on what is happening around us!

“Stay alert! Be on guard! For you do not know when the time will come.”
Mark 13:33 CJB

Only God knows the day and hour, so we need to stay alert and be awake! We all can get caught up in just watching the world and its events go by. We really need to be aware of the world, but more importantly we need to be praying and watching for Adonai!

“My Strength, I will watch for You, for God is my fortress.”
Psalm 59:9 CJB

Today, be aware, be on guard and be in constant prayer!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!

God created you

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with feelings of compassion and with kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
Colossians 3:12 CJB

The phrase chosen people is used several times throughout scripture speaking of us! We are His chosen people, prepared to share His Good News of Salvation!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

This is something that we always need to be reminded of: God has chosen us before time even began!

“For You fashioned my inmost being, You knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
Psalm 139:13 CJB

How awesome that God was designing us even as we were still in our mother’s womb! So even the days we are living in right now were designed by God! So embrace the day and praise Adonai!
May your day be richly blessed!

Walk in His ways

“Therefore, just as you received the Messiah Yeshua as LORD, keep living your life united with Him.”
Colossians 2:6 CJB

In other words simply walk in His ways, living according to His word!

“How happy is everyone who fears Adonai, who lives by His ways.”
Psalm 128:1 CJB

Understand the fear of Adonai isn’t being afraid of Him, but instead it’s a fear of walking in life without Him!

“Blessed is the man who trusts in Adonai; Adonai will be his security.”
Jeremiah 17:7 CJB

Simply just listen and trust in Adonai! Hear what He says and do what He says!
Have a blessed day living in Yeshua’s ways!
