Cling to God

“As for Me, I rebuke and discipline everyone I love; so exert yourselves, and turn from your sins!”
Revelation 3:19 CJB

God doesn’t have favorites He rebukes and disciplines everyone equally as He loves equally! Rebuking and discipline by God really shows us His love for us. He loves us enough to correct and direct us! What we often lack is repentance and thankfulness!

“He sounds a warning in their ears and orders them to repent of their evil.”
Job 36:10 CJB

God, has constantly warned us to repent and cling to Him! Why? Because He is God and knows what is best for us!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB verse 4 in other translations

The best thing we can do in life is to cling to Adonai, knowing He has a firm grip on us!
So let’s walk in His ways today!
Shabbat Shalom!

Shine

“I gave her time to turn from her sin, but she doesn’t want to repent of her immorality.”
Revelation 2:21 CJB

This shows the grace of God. He gives time for us to repent, but His patience does comes to an end! How? When we refuse to repent!

“Fools say in their hearts, there is no God. They deal corruptly, their deeds are vile, not one does what is right.”
Psalm 14:1 CJB

This is the world we live in now! Corrupt, vile and wicked, denying God at every chance! What do we do? We shine for Adonai!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

The more people deny God, the more we need to shine for Him!
Have a blessed day shining for Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

“So write down what you see, both what is now, and what will happen afterwards.”
Revelation 1:19 CJB

Three things here! First: what John is seeing here now in chapter 1, Second: the things which are chapter 2-3 letters to and about churches present and finally chapter 4-22 the things to come! We need to preach and share the same way! Preach what we see the reality of Yeshua and the times we are living in and then the future we can have with Him!

“Proclaim the Word! Be on hand with it whether the time seems right or not. Convict, censure and exhort with unfailing patience and with teaching.”
2 Timothy 4:2 CJB

We always need to be prepared and ready to share! Knowing who we serve, knowing the times we are living in and prepared to share the reality of eternity with God!

“I have proclaimed what is right in the great assembly; I did not restrain my lips, Adonai, as You know.”
Psalm 40:9 CJB

Today, let’s be ready and able to share the Good News of Salvation!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Be aware

“They told you, During the acharit-hayamim (last days) there will be scoffers following their own godless passions.”
Jude 1:18 CJB

The idea here is that in the last days, which we are in, there will be many who follow godless passions, doing their own thing! This is a warning for us to be aware of the times we are living in!

“First understand this: during the Last Days, scoffers will come, following their own desires.”
2 Peter 3:3 CJB

Really nothing new here. People will always want to do their own thing, and scoff at believers who are waiting for and pointing to Messiah! Unfortunately, people only want to hear what makes them happy!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear.”
2 Timothy 4:3 CJB

As we see things getting darker we really need to be seeking Adonai, but also be on guard watching the world around us through the lens of the Word of God!
May your day be richly blessed!

Do good

“Dear friend, don’t imitate the bad, but the good. Those who do what is good are from God; those who do what is bad are not from God.”
3 John CJB

Some people live for God and some do not! What side do you want to be on? Because God is good, so should we be!

“Beloved friends, let us love one another; because love is from God; and everyone who loves has God as his Father and knows God.”
1 John 4:7 CJB

When we love we imitate God, who loves us more than anything even when He warns us of the destruction of sin!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to DECLARE the PRAISES of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

We always need to be reminded of this: God has chosen us out of the world to be His representatives to the world!
Have blessed day supporting the work of God and doing good!
