Two things to contemplate here. One: we should always do what God tells us and do it the way He tells us! Second: understand doing what God tells us requires work!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”

We can’t just hear we must do what God says!

“My soul, return your rest! For Adonai has been generous toward you.”
Psalm 116:7 CJB

When we seek God and His will, we may have to do some hard work, but when we are doing things God’s way it is He who will make our burden light!

“You are to make it according to everything I show you—the design of the tabernacle and the design of its furnishings. This is how you are to make it. “

What we should glean from this verse is, we are to do everything according to what God says! Not trying to manipulate the Word of God, to get what we want, but following it to live the way God desires us too!

“How happy is everyone who fears Adonai, who lives by his ways.”
Psalm 128:1 CJB

The fear of God is living life without Him, so with that said we should desire to walk in His ways according to His Word!

“Blessed is the man who trusts in Adonai; Adonai will be his security.”
Jeremiah 17:7 CJB

We need to just simply trust and listen to Adonai in everything! Have a blessed day doing life the way God intends us to live by His Word!

“To the people of Isra’el the glory of Adonai looked like a raging fire on the top of the mountain. “

The glory of Adonai is raging power, but in perfect control!

“Adonai, I know that the way of humans is not in their control, humans are not able to direct their steps as they walk.”
Jeremiah 10:23 CJB

God is in control and has all things covered, even the minor details of our lives!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

Man’s ways never are complete, but God’s ways are full of faith, mercy and grace! He is perfect in control power!

We all need to be careful how we interact with the world around us! The problem many believers have is they forget that we are just passing through, not digging in! When we get comfortable in the world is when we start to serve its gods!

“If it seems bad to youth serve Adonai, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? Or the gods of Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve Adonai!”

Still a great question to ask ourselves today! Who do you serve? God or man made gods?

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”

Today, with all the distractions going on around us, let’s not forget that we need to serve and worship Adonai!
