God, made a promise to Avram, to get him to the promised land and He kept it! He will do the same for you and me also!

” ‘You are Adonai, you alone. You made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their array, the earth and all the things that are in it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve them all. The army of heaven worships you. “

When we really think about things and realize that God does everything perfectly, it should lead us to worship Him!

“I thank you because I am awesomely made, wonderfully; your works are wonders—I know this very well.”
Psalm 139:14 CJB

Adonai has perfectly made us which also includes every situation we go through! He has also promised us that He will come and get us to take us to the promised land to dwell with Him forever!

When we live in the world collecting and living for its worldly stuff, will eventually consume you, putting you into captivity!

“Rebels and sinners together will be broken and those who abandon Adonai will be consumed.”
Isaiah 1:28 CJB

One day all rebels and sinners will be dealt with! What we need to do is cling to Adonai even more!

“For if you will take care to obey all these mitzvot I am giving you, to do them, to love Adonai your God, to follow all His ways and to cling to Him.”

The best thing we can do in life is cling to Adonai, knowing He really has a firm grip on us!
So let’s camp out with Adonai and stay away from the corruption of the world!

“But the land could not support their living together, because their possessions were too great for them to remain together.”
Genesis 13:6 CJB

What did Lot and Avram get from Egypt (the World) possessions (stuff) that was consuming them! The focus was now becoming stuff not Adonai, so they quarreled, that’s what the world does!
This is what can and does happen to us also! What’s the solution? Adonai!

“Therefore Adonai says, ‘Go out from their midst; separate yourselves; don’t even touch what is unclean. Then I myself will receive you.”
2 Corinthians 6:17 CJB

We need to keep ourselves separate from the world as much as we possibly can! We need to be holy as Adonai has called us to be!

“Because you are a people set apart as holy for Adonai your God. Adonai your God has chosen you to be His own unique treasure out of all peoples on the face of the earth.”
Deuteronomy 14:2 CJB

Adonai, has called us to not be entangled in the world and all its foolishness, but instead be caught up in His holiness!

Even when we do make bad decisions and do stupid things, God still protects us!

“Rescue me, Adonai, from evil people, protect me from violent people.”

So glad that Adonai does rescue us from evil, knowing that we are surrounded by evil! Being surrounded by evil often leads us to making dumb decisions!

“Hallelujah! Give thanks to Adonai, for He is good, for His grace continues forever.”
Psalm 106:1 CJB

What a blessing knowing God protects us from evil and our bad decisions!

Just because we see agreement and unity, doesn’t always mean we are doing what is right! There was unity in Nazi Germany and the result was six million Jews dying, to name one example! We see it in our news media today with sayings like due process and constitutional crisis! What we need to be united in is Yeshua and His Salvation!

“I have said these things to you that, united with Me, you may have Shalom. In the world, you have tsuris (tribulation). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

When we are united with Yeshua, we will always have Shalom, when we are united in the world we will have tribulation and conflict! The best thing we can do is drop all the worldly stuff and be united with Yeshua!

“Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the Earth.”
Psalm 46:10 CJB

Don’t fall into the trap of uniting yourself with political parties, social movements or environmental crisis! But, instead be united with Adonai and His movement!
