Move on

“But he dallied, so the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand and the hands of his two daughters-Adonai was being merciful to him-and led them outside the city.”
Genesis 19:16 CJB

Do we linger or dilly-dally too long when we know we are supposed to leave or move on? The answer sadly is yes! Often times we linger too long because we are afraid, lack trust or just get comfortable in our situation!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with my victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

We, as believers, have nothing to fear! Why? Because we belong to God, and He will always take care of us, because we belong to Him! So don’t be afraid to move on!

“Be strong, be bold, don’t be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 CJB

Often times we can feel stuck in our situations and linger longer than we should! What we need to do is not be afraid to move on, because every step we take Adonai goes before us preparing the way and He is walking right with us as we go forward!
Have a blessed day knowing God has you!

Intercede with prayer

“He said, I hope Adonai won’t be angry if I speak once more. What if ten are found there? He said, For the sake of the ten I won’t destroy it.”
Genesis 18:32 CJB

Notice Abraham went from fifty to ten, but he doesn’t give up interceding for the people, even though he knows only Lot is righteous!

“First of all, then, I counsel that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all human beings, including kings and all in positions of prominence; so that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives, being godly and upright in everything.”
1 Timothy 2:1-2 CJB

We all need to be praying for everything and everyone, no matter how we may feel about the person or the situation! What’s the heart of God? He desires no one should perish! So we need to intercede and pray!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.”
John 3:16 CJB

God really has no desire for people to perish, so let’s be intercessors, praying instead of judging!
May your day be richly blessed!

Listen to the voice of God

“Avram fell on his face, and God continued speaking with Him.”
Genesis 17:3 CJB

Do we fall on our face before God worshipping and listening to Him? Usually we may worship and instead of listening all we do is talk and make demands! We need to bow down, worship and listen to the voice of God! His voice is living in His Word!

“‘Call out to Me, and I will answer you-I will tell you great things, hidden things of which you are unaware.'”
Jeremiah 33:3 CJB

Why would you call on any one but God? Adonai will answer and He will do awesome and amazing things every time! We just need to worship and listen!

“And call on Me when you are in trouble; I will deliver you , and you will honor Me.
Psalm 50:15 CJB

The only one who will answer us and send help in our day of trouble is Adonai!
So today, let’s spend some time on our face worshipping Adonai!

Trust God!

“He will be a wild donkey of a man, with his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, living his life at odds with all his kinsmen.”
Genesis 16:12 CJB

God shows grace to Hagar and Yishmael, but also tells them that when we sin as Avram did, by not trusting God! His sin will have repercussions which we see to this day with extremist Muslims, descendants of Yishmael!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

God knows all and sees all! He sees the good we do and also the bad! Don’t get hung up on the bad things of the world or even our personal mistakes! Just repent, move on and Seek Adonai!

“Come, let’s sing to Adonai! Let’s shout for joy to the Rock of our Salvation!”
Psalm 95:1 CJB

So let’s realize even though God forgives and forgets when we repent, but understand sin does have repercussions!
May your day be richly blessed seeking Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!
