Don’t wander in the world

“The field and its cave had been purchased by Avraham from the sons of Het as a burial-site which would belong to him.”
Genesis 23:20 CJB

Here we see that Avraham was a nomad until this point! Wandering throughout the land! Here he actually purchases the property! Like Avraham we were nomads wandering through the world until Yeshua purchased us!

“Or don’t you know that your body is a temple for the Rauch Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) who lives inside you, whom you received from God? The fact is, you don’t belong to yourselves; for you were brought at a price. So use your bodies to glorify God.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 CJB

When we really think about the price Yeshua paid for us it should lead us to want to walk in His ways! Not wandering around doing foolish things! How do we walk in His ways? By being in His word!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

How blessed we are to be saved by the grace of God who paid the ultimate price for our souls! Because of this gift of Salvation we should really press in to walk in His ways not wander aimlessly in the world!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Give all to Adonai

“He said, don’t lay your hand on the boy! Don’t do anything to him! For now I know that you are a man who fears God, because you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
Genesis 22:12 CJB

Avraham, gave all, he withheld nothing from God! Do we give all or do we hold back?

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

We need to commit to God in everything, holding nothing back no matter what!

“Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.” PSALM 46:10 CJB

We need to drop whatever we are holding on to or holding back from Adonai! When we give all to Adonai, we need to understand that we can never out give God and He gives us more than we can ever imagine! So be willing to simply just let go!
Have a blessed day giving your all to Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Living for Adonai

“Avraham lived for a long time as a foreigner in the land of the P’lishtim (Philistines).”
Genesis 21:34 CJB

Israel has always had to make flimsy peace deals to survive, that’s exactly what we see Avraham doing here! We need to do the same learn how to be peaceful in an evil society!

“Hear my prayer, Adonai, listen to my weeping; for with you, I am just a traveler passing through, like all my ancestors.”
Psalm 39:12 CJB

We need to realize that we are just strangers passing through, knowing we have a future to be with Adonai in the promised land with Him!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai,’plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

God knows what we are going through and how we are just wandering through this world! As we are wandering through let’s share the wonderful news of Salvation, knowing one day we will be with Him!
May your day be richly blessed!

God goes before us

“God said to him in a dream, Yes, I know that in doing this, your heart has been pure; and I too have kept you from sinning against Me. This is why I didn’t let you touch her.”
Genesis 20:6 CJB

When we are in the will of God it is He who protects us! He also is directing the world around us, even when it doesn’t make sense!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

We, as believers, have nothing to fear! Why? Because we belong to God, and He will always take care of us, because we belong to Him!

“Be strong, be bold, don’t be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 CJB

Like the children of Israel, we need to be encouraged. Things at times can and do look impossible. We just need to remember all things belong to Adonai and He goes before us, clearing our path.
May your day be richly blessed!
