Don’t be deceived

“`Esav asked, What was the meaning of this procession of droves I encountered? and he answered, It was to win my lord’s favor.”
Genesis 33:8 CJB

Jacob, didn’t need to proceed with his original plan, because God already had cleared the way with Esau! We need to be careful of doing things God hasn’t told us to do! Don’t manipulate the Word of God to fit our own agendas!

“Now the serpent was more crafty than any wild animal which Adonai, God, had made. He said to the woman, Did God really say, You are not to eat from any tree in the garden?”
Genesis 3:1 CJB

Our enemy Satan is always looking for ways to deceive us, manipulating us on the misuse of His Word! We just need to be on guard, watching and praying!

“Stay sober, stay alert! Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a lion looking for someone to devour.”
1 Peter 5:8 CJB

Our Adversary (Satan) is always on the move, lying and deceiving looking for someone to devour! The good news is Adonai is always watching over us. We need to do our part and be vigilant on studying and knowing the Word of God, so we won’t be deceived!
May your day be richly blessed!

God is good!

“Then Ya`akov said, God of my father Avraham and God of my father Yitz’chak, Adonai, who told me, Return to your country and your kinsmen, and I will do you good.”
Genesis 32:10 CJB

Why do we panic and fear when God gives us instruction to do His will? He is always going to do good in our lives!

“Haven’t I ordered you, ‘Be strong, be bold’? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

Like Joshua, we need to be strong, bold and courageous as we go out into the world! Remember, God is always with us wherever we go!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

So let’s focus on Adonai and what He says and not the situations before us! Know that Adonai is right there with us in every crisis, situation and trial!
Have a blessed day knowing God is doing good things!

Turn off the noise!

“Then, in the dream, the angel of God said to me, ‘Ya`akov!’ and I replied,’Here I am.'”
Genesis 31:11 CJB

When God speaks do we listen? Realize, He is always calling, the problem is we aren’t always listening and have too much noise going on around us! God is calling us we just need to listen!

“Then I heard the voice of Adonai saying, Whom should I send? Whom should I send? Who will go for us? I answered, I’m here, send me!”
Isaiah 6:8 CJB

The same call goes out today, from Adonai! Whom shall I send? And we should give the same answer, here I am send me! The problem is are we listening?

“After the earthquake, fire broke out; but Adonai was not in the fire. And after the fire came a quiet, subdued voice.”
1 Kings 19:12 CJB

The Hebrew is: its not a small voice or a whisper, God, was in THE ABSOLUTE SILENCE! What we need to do is is be quiet and listen for the voice of God. Understand He is always talking and often times it’s not in a thunderous, but in the ABSOLUTE SILENCE, we just need to listen!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Serve Adonai

“The few you had before I came have increased substantially; Adonai has blessed you wherever I went. But now, when will I provide for my own household?”
Genesis 30:30 CJB

Are we doing our jobs as if we are working directly for Adonai? If we are then we shouldn’t worry about God providing for our families! Just keep working unto Him!

“Honor Adonai with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your income.”
Proverbs 3:9 CJB

In other words everything you have is from God and belongs to Him! So we need to be believers who freely give back to Him as we walk through life!

“Some give freely and still get richer, while others are stingy but still grow poorer.”
Proverbs 11:24 CJB

Understand it is God who provides all our needs, so if we trust God, we shouldn’t worry about provision, but instead look for more opportunities to glorify Him and serve Him!
May your day be blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!
