Share the word of the LORD!

“But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, And commanded the prophets saying, Do not prophecy!” Amos 2:12

The Nazirites were to be separated to serve the LORD, and not drinking was one of the things they didn’t do! Here they are given wine to stumble them, to make them more like the average folks! People can do that with preachers and teachers today by propping them up or encouraging them to preach what they want to hear, making them drunk on self!

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;” 2 Timothy 4:3

The word of God is always true, every last word! We can’t water it down to make it more palatable, or to fit our views! Unfortunately that’s what’s happening around us today! Be careful of using the word of God to fit your personal world view, instead look to it to get the LORD’s view on the world!

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16

Today let us read the word of God, meditate on it and reflect it the best that we can!

“You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus.” 1 Peter 2:5

Let us be seeking the LORD, being living stones a royal priesthood sharing the good news of the LORD, His good news not our views! Have a blessed day!

Hold on and know that the LORD has you!

“Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.”

Genesis 40:23

Like Joseph we can feel forgotten, he was in prison purposely forgotten by Potiphar because of Potiphar’s scandal ridden house! Maybe today your in a dead end job overlooked by the boss or a relationship that seems to be going nowhere! Realize the LORD knows right where your at, so hold on!

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were

born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 1:5

The Lord not only knows us, He also has ordained us to share His good news of salvation! Every situation we are in, the LORD will use for His glory! He won’t leave us and He will get us through!

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

No matter what situation you maybe in today realize the LORD has got you!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Today know you are called by God, you are known by God and He has a purpose for you! So hold on and know the LORD is working it all out! Have a blessed day.

He see’s all and knows all!

“But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”

Genesis 39:21

Often times we can be caught up in our situation instead of being caught up in the LORD. Don’t let your situation shape who you are, but allow the LORD to use your situation to glorify Him and to build your faith!

“For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.” Deuteronomy 2:7

Like the children of Israel as we wander through this wilderness of life, realize the LORD is right there with us helping us through every situation! Remember we belong to Him and the LORD knows all and sees all!

“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.” Psalm 34:15

The LORD is constantly listening to us and watching us, all we have to do is call!

“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3

No matter what you maybe going through today good or bad, remember and know the LORD has a ear open for you and a eye upon you! Have a blessed day knowing the LORD has you!

Confess and be covered by the LORD!

“Then Reuben returned to the pit, and indeed Joseph was not in the pit; and he tore his clothes. And he returned to his brothers and said, The lad is no more; and I, where shall I go?”

Genesis 37:29-30

Often times when we blow it, instead of just confessing that we blew it we plot to cover up! In the next verses they kill a goat and dip Josephs coat in it’s blood and tell Jacob a wild animal got him!

“But if you do not do so, then take note, you have sinned against the LORD; and be sure your sin will find you out.” Numbers 32:23

We can do all the plotting, planning and covering up we want, remember the LORD see’s all, hears all and know’s all! So the best thing we can do is just confess and tell the truth!

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

Today don’t hide and cover, confess and be uncovered before the LORD! So He can cover you in His righteousness and wash your sins in His blood! Have a blessed day in Him!

We are on the LORD’s mind all the time!

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”

Matthew 13:45-46

What a great picture of our LORD and what He did for us! He left all to pay our price for our sin! He puts a great price on you and me.

“The labor of righteous leads to life, The wages of the wicked to sin.” Proverbs 10:16

This is who we are wicked and self centered, yet the LORD still loves us!

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus our LORD.” Romans 6:23

Realize today that the LORD has you and I on His mind and in His heart all the time! All we have to do is call!

“As for me, I will call upon God, And the LORD shall save me.” Psalm 55:16

No matter what you are going through today, realize all we have to do is call upon the LORD, and He is right there to save! Have a blessed day knowing the LORD is near!
