Don’t take matters into your own hands, but wait on the LORD!

“And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth; if Jacob takes a wife of the daughters of Heth, like these who are the daughters of the land, what good will my life be to me?” Genesis 27:46

Life can and does stress us out, sometimes by our own doing and some by things out of our control! Either way we at times can feel completely overwhelmed and life is out of control, that we can take things into our own hands and make it worse.

“In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me.” Psalm 86:7

The situation we see here is of Rebekah’s own doing, but the way out is the LORD! We need to see this today, we need to call on the LORD and wait! Don’t panic or be weary and taking things into our own hands, but wait!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13

Today realize the LORD has a future for us filled with His hope! What we need to be doing is seeking Him and waiting upon Him to do! Don’t be impatient and take things into your own hands, but wait on the LORD, He has a plan! Have a blessed day waiting on Him!

Digging a new well!

“And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Genesis 26:22

Often times in ministry we seem to be at a dead end, or not getting anywhere. Maybe its time to start digging a new well, stepping out onto a new piece of ground!

“And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.” Matthew 10:14

If your sharing the truth with folks and all they want to do is argue or quarrel with you, just move on and dig another well! Also it may not be them, maybe you need to check your heart and see if its you!

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24

If life seems to be a bit quarrelsome today it maybe time to dig some new wells, or do a heart check! Look to the LORD and see if there is any wicked or problematic way in you! Have a blessed day searching and digging with the LORD!

Shut off the media, and get on our knees!

“And Esau said, Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”

Genesis 25:32

Often times this is how folks feel about spiritual things, they’d sell them for a bowl of stew! We need to care less about flesh and more about the spirit! Often times we forget we are in a spiritual war!

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

In my opinion the reason we have so much going on in the physical world, is to distract us from the spiritual world! We have health, wealth and social issues that we focus on distracting us from the LORD! So we forget we are in spiritual warfare not physical!

“Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up.” Joel 3:9

Today lets start preparing by shutting off the media and getting on our knee’s, spending time with the LORD! The internet, TV and politicians are not the answer! JESUS is!

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Let us spend sometime on our knee’s today in prayer! We all have much to pray about. Have a blessed day!

The fields are ripe!

“Then He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Matthew 9:37

We pray for all kinds of things, one of the biggest is; We need revival! Well if that’s our prayer we need to be willing to step out and share!

“Therefore pray the LORD of the harvest to send laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:28

What we need is men and women willing to step up, go out and harvest! There are plenty of hurt lost people around us who need someone to point them to the LORD! The saying goes; When you pray for a bountiful crop, you better have a basket in your hand!

“Also I heard the voice of the LORD, saying: ‘Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?’ Then I said, Here am I! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8

Today let us look around and see the fields are ripe for harvest! Let us be the ones that say “Here am I, send me!” Look for opportunity to share the love of the LORD today! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom

“When Jesus heard that, He said to them, Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I DESIRE MERCY AND NOT SACRIFICE.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Matthew 9:12-13

Remember the LORD is the Great Physician, wanting to heal us of what we need healing from SIN! Sin is the sickness the disease that affects us all! And the cure is JESUS, and it is real easy to get the cure!

“That if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is LORD and trust in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be delivered(saved).” Romans 10:9 CJB

As we look around us we see all kinds of sin, and we probably point it out! Be careful of that when we all have plenty of our own sin that has to be dealt with.

“For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 3:23

Remember all we have to do is confess and believe!

“For what I desire is mercy, not sacrifices, knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.” Hosea 6:6 CJB

Today let us look to the LORD before we look at the world, and see His great mercy towards us. Call on Him, be healed by Him and shine for Him and watch how He will bless your day!

Shabbat Shalom.
