The LORD provides all our needs!

“Then Joesph provided his father, his brothers, and all his father’s household with bread, according to the number in their families.” Genesis 47:12

We see around us today a spiritual famine happening. The concerns of the majority of the world is wrapped around finances and getting ahead, not the LORD and getting spiritually fed! Joseph provides the physical bread his family needed to live, the LORD will provide us with the bread of life that we actually long for!

“And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” John 6:35

If you are feeling hungry and thirsty because of the spiritual famine that is happening around us! All you need to do is simply go to the LORD and He will provide for you and your family!

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Everything we really need is in the LORD, seek Him today and watch how He fills your every need! Have a blessed day in Him.

The LORD knows all!

“So He said, I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.”

Genesis 46:3

As Jacob goes into Egypt (the world) God is with him, the same goes for you and me today! We all have to go out into the world as we go to work, school or just into town, remember God is with you!

“The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.”

Psalm 46:11

Often times as we are out and about just doing our daily life we have a tendency to forget that the LORD is with us! We can be at work and get frustrated and start to sound worldly, at school and start speaking like the lost or out in town and start acting like the world around us, Remember the LORD is right there!

“For His eyes are on the ways of man, And He sees all his steps.” Job 34:21

Today as your out and about, remember the LORD is right there seeing and hearing what you say and do! So let us find comfort and refuge in the fact that the LORD is always with us. Remembering He knows all and sees all, So do not fear as we go out into the world today, but be mindful that the LORD is near! Have a blessed day!

Get caught up in the LORD!

“But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; God sent me before you to preserve life.” Genesis 45:5

Here we see that it can be real easy to focus on the problems of life; relational, vocational, financial and health problems that come up! Instead let us focus on the LORD who knows how every situation is going to workout!

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Genesis 50:20

Today let us just focus on the LORD, not the obstacles that are around us, instead look at obstacles as guides to get us where the LORD wants us to be! Don’t get caught up in what other people believe or do, but get caught up in the LORD and walk in His ways!

“And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; It shall rejoice in His salvation.” Psalm 35:9

Realize every situation in life is ordained by the LORD, so don’t waste your time trying to work things out on your own. Instead spend that time just simply seeking and worshipping the LORD, it’s always going to be time well spent! Have a blessed day in Him!

Don’t focus on your mess, look to the LORD instead!

“Now therefore, please let your servant remain instead of the lad as a slave to my lord, and let the lad go up with his brothers.”

Genesis 44:33

Here we see Judah ready to give up his own life for Benjamin’s to somehow pay for all their mistakes! We all can look back at our lives and see all the mistakes we’ve made and would like to go back and correct them, to make things right! Realize even in our mistakes the LORD is leading us!

“Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.” Psalm 139:10

Often times our mistakes can lead us to the right place, right where the LORD wants us to be, right to the place where He can use us for His purposes! Our mistakes usually lead us to a mess, but our messes the LORD somehow uses for His glory!

“The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.” Nahum 1:7

So today instead of looking at our mess and be in distress, look to the LORD and trust Him. Watch how He can take your mess and somehow bless! Just keep your eyes on the LORD not your messy situation whether it’s your fault or not! Have a blessed day in the LORD!

Every situation comes to a end!

“Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to ME.” Matthew 17:17

Here Jesus and the guys just came back from the transfiguration experience and this man brings his epileptic son to be healed and the disciples can’t do it! But Jesus can and does!

“Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” Mark 9:24

I know like me we believe in the LORD, but we all get into situations where things look so dire we feel the LORD either forgot us or just can’t get us out of this situation! Don’t fall into that trap of unbelief, nothing is impossible for the LORD! Realize every situation comes to a end!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

So for us today know this, you are called by God, He has a purpose for you even if you don’t see it now! So just love the LORD, knowing it’s all going to work out! Remember everything comes to a end, then we will be with Him for eternity! Have a blessed day in Him!
