Don’t be afraid.

“He saw that they were having difficulty rowing, because the wind was against them; so at around four o’clock in the morning He came toward them, walking on the lake! He meant to come alongside them;”

Mark 6:48 CJB

We all have storms and difficulties while navigating through life. We need to realize the Jesus is right there walking with us!

“But when they saw Him walking on the lake, they thought it was a ghost and let out a shriek; for they had seen Him and were terrified. However, He spoke to them. Courage, He said, it is I. Stop being afraid!”

Mark 6:49-50 CJB

Jesus says the same to us today knowing life can be rough, Know He is right there with you so take courage and stop being afraid!

“He got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. They were completely astounded.”

Mark 6:51 CJB

Why were they amazed and astounded by the storm ceasing, because they realized Jesus was in control and with them all along! This is what we need to see today no matter how crazy or insane things look around us, Jesus is right there! No matter how big the problem or situation is, with Jesus the storm maybe still there but its winds will seem calm! We all have issues going on around us, rejoice knowing the LORD is right there with you. Have a blessed day not living in fear, it’s all going to be alright Jesus is in the boat.

Jesus removed your chains, so let His light shine!

“They came to Yeshua (Jesus) and saw the man who had the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were frightened.” Mark 5:15 CJB

This to me is very interesting, as we see the events happening around us in the world and in our country. Which seems to be completely out of control, locked in the chains of insanity! The only thing that can solve the problem is Jesus and He is being rejected in every place that desperately needs Him!

“And the people began begging Yeshua (Jesus) to leave their district.”

Mark 5:17 CJB

As we see this happening around us, the LORD being rejected and laughed at everywhere, People who believe in the LORD are also mocked and ridiculed! We can be like the demon possessed man wanting to leave with Jesus, thinking he maybe mocked knowing the people cared more for their stuff! The LORD says the same thing to us today go back and be a witness!

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16

As hostile as the world is getting around us, we as believers need to shine even more! We may not agree with each other on doctrine or social issues, But we can agree that Jesus is LORD! So let’s get out there and share the love and light of our LORD, who removed our chains of death! Have a blessed day shinning for the LORD!

Shabbat Shalom.

Great is the LORD!

“Son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.” Ezekiel 43:10

When we look at the LORD and see Him for who He is, we should start to look at the things we whine and complain about as insignificant!

“Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD.” Psalm 138:5

We often get caught up in the situations around and make them of great importance. Instead what we need to do is make the LORD the main focus of our lives!

“Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.” Micah 7:7

Today let us take measure of our lives, and realize how much bigger the LORD is than any situation we maybe in! So let us look to the LORD and know He really is bigger than all our problems! Have a blessed day praising our LORD!

May your day be sweet!

“Aaron shall burn on it sweet incense every morning; when he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense on it.”

Exodus 30:7

Like Aaron we need to start every morning spending time with the LORD, it will always be a sweet time!

“Adonai, in the morning you will hear my voice; in the morning I lay my needs before you and wait expectantly.”

Psalm 5:3 CJB

Anytime we skip spending time with the LORD our day can start to be disastrous. The picture you see here is when you burn incense it lasts and the sweet smell lingers until you burn more!

“Pray regularly.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 CJB

The idea here is to make prayer a daily habit, or look for any opportunity to send up sweet smelling prayers to the LORD!

“Let my prayer be like incense set before You, my uplifted hands like an evening sacrifice.” Psalm 141:2 CJB

Realize the best tool we have is prayer, and its the tool we use the least! Don’t complain and whine about the world around us. Instead lets pray for people, situations and needs! When we are in a continued habit of praying, watch how your day starts to sweeten up! Have a blessed day with the LORD!

More time with the LORD = less time in the world!

“And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them up out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.” Exodus 29:46

After reading this chapter you can begin to realize how much effort was put into dealing with sin! The unfortunate thing today as we can look around us, we can see how much effort is put into committing sin!

“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.”

Psalm 19:7

Sin is a serious thing, the cure is the blood of Jesus which covers it! Understand the LORD dwells among us and the more time we are spending with Him, the less time we will be spending in sin! Spend time in His word, knowing He is near to all who call upon Him!

“Through them your servant is warned (speaking of His word); in obeying them is great reward.” Psalm 19:11

Today spend time in the word of the LORD, making time to be with Him! Don’t make excuses why you can’t. The more time spent with the LORD, the less time we spend in the world and spending time with Him is always a great reward! Have a blessed day!
