Let’s glory in the LORD!

“Thus says the LORD: Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor the rich man glory in his riches.”

Jeremiah 9:23

Its not higher education that we need, its not more gym memberships or a bigger bank accounts. Not that any of these things are bad, but don’t put your hope in them they can’t save you!

“But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgement, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight, Says the LORD.”

Jeremiah 9:24

What we all need is more of the LORD in our lives, any time we allow more of the LORD in our lives and less of the world we will always better off.

“Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.”

Psalm 34:3

Today let us glorify and magnify the LORD, let us exalt His name in every situation! Let’s walk in His ways and be blessed!

Look to the LORD

“Rather, what I did order them was this: Pay attention to what I say. Then I will be your God, and you will be my people. In everything, live according to the way I order you, so that things will go well for you.”

Jeremiah 7:23 CJB

This is true today life will always be easier when we simply just do what the LORD says! Hear His voice, follow His word and obey His instructions!

“But they neither listened nor paid attention, but lived according to their own plans, in the stubbornness of their evil hearts, thus going backwards and not forward.”

Jeremiah 7:24 CJB

No matter what things we are dealing with in life whether good, bad or just life’s issues! The LORD through His word has the perfect instruction on how to deal with any situation! All we have to do is look to Him, don’t go backwards but step forward towards the LORD!

“My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.”

Psalm 5:3 NKJV

Today look to the LORD before, during and after any situation! His direction and ways are always going to be better, lets take our orders from Him today. Have a blessed day following the LORD.

Reflect the LORD!

“And Moses said to the congregation, This is what the LORD commanded to be done.”

Leviticus 8:5

Here we see Moses doing what the LORD commands, setting up the priesthood! The same for us today the LORD chose us, and anointed us to be His priesthood!

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

1 Peter 2:9

We are all called to reflect the light of the LORD and as we look around us today we can see the world really needs it!

“Then he brought Aaron’s sons. And Moses put some of the blood on the tips of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses sprinkled the blood all around on the alter.”

Leviticus 8:23

Like Aaron’s sons the LORD anoints our ears to hear what He commands (His word), He anoints our hands to do what He commands and our feet to walk in His ways! So today let’s Hear the voice of the LORD, let us serve the LORD, and let us walk in the ways of the LORD! May your day richly be blessed.

Don’t get distracted!

“The LORD commanded this to be given to them by the children of Israel, on the day that He anointed them, by a statue forever through their generations.”

Leviticus 7:36

The LORD still has commands for us to follow today and desires us to follow them! We will always be better off when we do!

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

John 14:15

Realize the commands the LORD gives us are fairly simple to keep, but do we?

“Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God is one.”

And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment.”

Mark 12:29-30

Most of us get really distracted with other things going on around us that we can and do forget about the LORD! Just reading this chapter in Leviticus 7, I was distracted and was not looking to the LORD only!

“And the second, like it, is this; You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Mark 12:31

And as my neighbor was walking by making lots of noise, I was complaining! My point and hopefully encouraging thought is; walking with the LORD takes a bit of effort on our part! When we read through Leviticus, let us be thankful we don’t have to sacrifice and make sin offerings to the LORD, but instead we get to love Him, learn from Him and walk with Him; that can be hard enough! Let us be that living sacrifice like ROMANS 12:1 says a reasonable service! May the LORD bless your day!

Keep the fire for the LORD burning!

“A fire shall always be burning on the alter; it shall never go out.”

Leviticus 6:13

We to need to keep the fire burning in our hearts, giving of ourselves to the LORD and praying continually!

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”

Romans 12:1

Presenting or giving of ourselves is a reasonable thing to do for the LORD! When we are doing things to and for the LORD, we will always be better off!

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

In other words we need to be in constant prayer, or have a regular prayer life! We need to keep the fire burning for the LORD! Today in everything going on in your life and around you, Look for the LORD in it! Never let your desire for the LORD burn out! Have a blessed day keeping the fire of the LORD burning in your heart!
