Walk in His ways!

“Therefore you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am the LORD your God.”

Leviticus 18:30

When we walk in the ways of the LORD, we will always have fewer chances of falling into the ways of the world. The LORD has given us His word to direct our lives, so get into His word!

“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”

Psalm 119:105

If you feel things are falling apart around you, a lack of direction or life seems to be a bit foggy. Then get into the word of God for direction and some clarity!

“Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways.” Psalm 128:1

Remember the fear here is a fear of walking through life without the LORD! Through out your day, take time to get into the word of the LORD, spend time with Him! Have a blessed day!

Look in the mirror!

“For on this day, atonement will be made for you to purify you; you will be clean before the LORD from all your sins,”

Leviticus 16:30 CJB

So glad that we are forgiven and cleansed from all our sins! It is good to be reminded that we are sinners in need of a savior, that we are forgiven of the dumb things we do!

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 1:9

Today is always a good day to look in the mirror and realize we are the one that needs cleansing from the LORD! We often fall into the trap of pointing out or looking at the sins of those around us, instead of our own!

“Examine me, God, and know my heart; test me, and know my thoughts. See if there is in me any hurtful way, and lead me along the eternal way.”

Psalm 139: 23-24 CJB

So let us not look at others and try to figure out how to forgive their sins, but instead look to the LORD and deal with what’s in your own heart! Realize we need to deal with our own situations! Have a blessed day talking with the LORD about what’s on your heart!

Issues will come to Pass!

“There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah, His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.” 6. “And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the LORD blameless.”

Luke 1:5-6

We are told here that Zacharias and Elizabeth walked rightly before the LORD, but were childless at an old age, which was considered a curse at this time. Often times we can feel cursed thinking that maybe the LORD doesn’t like us or care about us! We feel we are doing everything right, walking in His ways but nothing is working out!

“But the angel said to him, Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.”

Luke 1:13

Before our prayers are answered or come to pass, we often can complain, whine and even argue with the LORD! But when the LORD comes through and prayers are answered we get excited and rejoice in the LORD! Today you maybe going through life’s challenges, impossible situations and are asking LORD where are you? Remember this!

“For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Luke 1:37

So hold on, keep praying and keep calling on the LORD! He hears, He knows and He will bring it to pass! Have a blessed day calling on the LORD and rejoicing in Him, knowing He is working it all out!

Talk about the LORD!

“Then He said to them, As you go throughout the world, proclaim the Good News to all creation.”

Mark 16:15 CJB

It’s not just when we travel to exotic foreign places, but everywhere we go we are to share the love of the LORD! Maybe you feel like it isn’t you or you can’t share! Know this the LORD designed you to share His good news!

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And my soul knows very well.”

Psalm 139:14

You may feel like your not worthy or not qualified to share about the LORD! Remember you are wonderfully made, the LORD designed you to do His will!

“Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD.”

Psalm 138:5

Today let us be the voice of the LORD sharing how good He is! People around us need to hear about the hope of the LORD. Let us shout about His glorious deeds today! Have a blessed day Shabbat Shalom!

Being silent is sometimes better!

“But Jesus still answered nothing, so Pilate marveled.”

Mark 15:5

We should take heed to this verse, and in many situations we should just not respond! Not every accusation against us or post needs a response from us, often times we are better off keeping silent!

“Oh, that you would be silent, And it would be wisdom!”

Job 13:5

As you go through the day there will be all kinds of situations, conversations and places to make a comment. Many of them we should just keep silent on, don’t answer don’t comment! Instead let us pray, talk to the LORD and wait for His response!

“Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.”

James 3:10

So let us really mind what we say and do, pray before we speak! Let us be more like Jesus and answer nothing and just be kind! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD before we speak!
