Share the love of the LORD

“Then He said to them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the LORD of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Luke 10:2

This is a sobering thought Jesus shares here, we all can be so consumed with our own bottom line; That we overlook the fact people around us are empty, broken and in desperate need of hope!

“Our God is the God of salvation; And to God the LORD belong escapes from death.”

Psalm 68:20

Today let us really look for people to share with, not just a one time deal and walk away. Purpose to spend time with them and becoming their neighbor! Sharing the love of the LORD!

“So he answered and said, YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, and YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

And He said to him, You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

Luke 10:27-28

We all really have a responsibility to share the good news of salvation with those around us! Let’s not get all caught up in the business and noise of the world; but instead let’s be about the business of the LORD!

Judge not!

“Now John answered and said, Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us. But Jesus said to him, Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side.”

Luke 9:49-50

How often do we act like John thinking we are the greatest, mocking other ministries or wanting to call fire down from heaven to consume others! We really need to pay more attention to our own walk with the LORD, than look and judge others! OUCH!

“Jesus said to him, If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? YOU FOLLOW ME.”

John 21:22

In other words if we are honest with ourselves (don’t worry the LORD see’s and knows all) we will realize we all need to work on following the LORD!

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God.”

Micah 6:8

Today let us talk about the LORD, point to the LORD and walk with Him. God really does have everything all sorted out, we need to just reflect His glorious light! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom!

Follow the LORD!

“Then He said to them all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”

Luke 9:23

What a truth, a way to check our own hearts, denying ourselves, and putting others first! Sometimes putting others first is harder than we would like to admit!

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Mark 12:30-31

Often times we can get caught up in judging and analyzing those around us! What we need to do is love them and press on towards the LORD!

“Then He said to them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Matthew 4:19

We need to be attractive bait, a people who love others not judging others!

“Jesus said to him, If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You Follow Me.”

John 21:22

Today let us really deny ourselves, our thoughts, our ways and our opinions and just Follow the LORD! Remember its all gonna work out, Have a blessed day!

Be fruitful!

“Thus says the LORD: Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD.”

Jeremiah 17:5

We need to be careful of what we put our trust in, in other words don’t make a plan B! There is only one plan and that is in the LORD!

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And those whose hope is the LORD.”

Jeremiah 17:7

We will always be better off when we put our trust in the LORD and not the world! The world will mess us up and deceive us!

“For he shall be like a tree planted by waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”

JEREMIAH 17:8

So today let us be planted in the word of the LORD, listening to His directions and walking in His ways! We will always be more fruitful when we put our hope and trust in the LORD! Have a blessed day!

Don’t make little things big things!

“Will a man make gods for himself, Which are not gods?

Jeremiah 16:20 NKJB

The answer to this question, sad to say is Yes! We make gods out of everything our problems, our finances, our health and our leaders!

“And Yeshua answered him, Scripture says, You shall worship the LORD your God and serve Him only.”

Luke 4:8 CJB

We need to be careful of turning little things into big things! Remember all the past situations the LORD has gotten you through! He will get you through the ones that you are going through now also!

“The LORD on high is mightier Than the noises of many waters, Than the mighty waves of the sea.”

Psalm 93:4

Life is full of ups and downs (noises and stormy seas), we need to be reminded that the LORD is bigger and mightier than them all! So don’t make little things into big thing, because no matter what the LORD is always bigger and mightier than them all! Have a blessed day!
