God goes before us!

“On that day, Adonai saved Israel from the Egyptians; Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the shore.”
Exodus 14:30 CJB

Why did Adonai allow the Egyptians to be seen dead on the shore? Because Israel was so panicked that they were going to be overtaken by them that God simply allowed them to see what happens to those who come against Him and His people!

“They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you, says Adonai, to rescue you.”
Jeremiah 1:19 CJB

There will always be battles in life. We all have difficulties at one time or another, we just need to remember that Adonai is right beside us and also goes out before us!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

Let’s really be focused on Adonai and not the enemies or trials before us. Know that Adonai is right there with us, going before us to get us through every situation!
Have a blessed day knowing God has you!

Give all to God

“You are to set apart for Adonai everything that is first from the womb. Every firstborn male animal will belong to Adonai. “

Exodus 13:12 CJB

We need to be giving God all our firsts, not our seconds! He gives us His best, so we should do the same!

“Give thanks to Adonai; for he is good, for his grace continues forever. “
1 Chronicles 16:34 CJB

Giving thanks and all our best to Adonai is always the best thing to do! Understand giving all to God is the least we can do, because He gives all.

“With Adonai on my side, I fear nothing—what can human beings do to me? “
Psalm 118:6 CJB

The answer here is nothing! So with that said let’s give our best to Adonai!
May your day be richly blessed!

Be on guard

“A mixed crowd also went up with them, as well as livestock in large numbers, both flocks and herds. “
Exodus 12:38 CJB

Two things here! First: It’s always great when people outside the body of believers join us! Second: we also need to be careful when they do! Non-believers traveling along side us need to come be part of what Adonai is doing, not dragging us into something He is not doing!

“Next, the mixed crowd that was with them grew greedy for an easier life; while the people of Isra’el, for their part, also renewed their weeping and said, “If only we had meat to eat!”
Numbers 11:4 CJB

Yeshua, also warned of this that some will come and join us, but the cares of the world will overwhelm them, sadly walking away from the faith dragging others with them! What we need to do is stay strong in Adonai! Why? If we stay strong it will cause people not to fall away!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt his name together. “
Psalm 34:3 CJB

When we are seeking God and praising Him, we will notice people will follow! When things get tough we need to just keep praising Him!
May your day be blessed!

Pray

“Adonai made Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people. Moreover, Moshe was regarded by Pharaoh’s servants and the people as a very great man in the land of Egypt.”
Exodus 11:3 CJB

After years of mistreatment of the Jewish people in Egypt, the everyday Egyptians feel sorry and are repaying the Jewish people and calling Moshe a great man! The point here is just because the leader of a nation is evil, doesn’t mean we need to judge the people the same! Often times even the people under evil leadership are also oppressed, so we need to pray!

“Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 19:18 CJB

Adonai desires us to love our neighbors! Who are our neighbors? My opinion everybody in the world! With that said we don’t have to love evil, in fact as scripture says we are to hate evil!

“Those who brag cannot stand before Your eyes, You hate all who do evil, You destroy those who tell lies, Adonai detests men of blood and deceivers.”
Psalm 5:5-6 CJB

If our Father in Heaven hates evil, then so should we! What is evil? Haters of God and His people, those who indiscriminately kill and have no value for human life! What do we do? Pray! Knowing God will take vengeance!
Have a blessed day interceding!

Intercede in prayer

“People couldn’t see each other, and no one went anywhere for three days. But all the people of Israel had light in their homes.”
Exodus 10:23 CJB

In verse 21, it says that the darkness was so dark it could be felt, this I believe is the complete removal of God! This what will happen to those who reject God!

“Rather, it is your own crimes that separate you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He doesn’t hear.”
Isaiah 59:2 CJB

One of the things that we see here in Exodus is God doesn’t listen to Pharaoh, it is Moshe who intercedes on His behalf! So while we are here in this world, before it is game over for the unbeliever, we need to be interceding for them and sharing the Good News of Salvation!

“But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!”
Matthew 5:44 CJB

It is real easy to love people that we love and care for, it is harder to love someone who persecutes you are reviles you! So let’s be like Moshe, intercede for the persecutors until God deals with them not you!
So let’s be interceders!
