Be wise!

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”

Matthew 10:16

The point here is that wolves attack and devour and doves are peaceful! What the LORD wants us to do is be bold about sharing His good news, but also be wise on how we do it!

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.” James 1:2

So glad the LORD knows all, He allows various situations to happen in order for us to share His good news, so be wise!

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 10:32-33

Today, let us be wise and look for the opportunity’s to share Jesus! Be bold and be wise, be kind and be firm and know when to just walk away!

Have a blessed day, Shabbat Shalom!

Be set apart!

“If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name, Says the LORD of hosts, I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.”

Malachi 2:2

This chapter in Malachi should be sobering, because it sounds like the church today! We have people in church offices, in leadership positions and in pulpits, not taking their position seriously! They’re more worried about what they can gain than sharing the gospel to save the lost! Let’s not fall into that trap, be set apart and holy!

“For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, And people should seek law (instruction) from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.”

Malachi 2:7

This is who you and I are to be, messengers of the LORD, telling people about Jesus and His ways.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

1 Peter 2:9

Today, let us be seekers of truth. Don’t get caught up in worldliness and the distractions in the world around us! But, let us seek the LORD and walk in His ways, let us be set apart and holy! Remember, we are His royal priesthood! Have a blessed day.

Make your yes a yes!

“But cursed be the deceiver Who has in his flock a male, And takes a vow, But sacrifices to the LORD what is blemished – For I am a great King, Says the LORD of hosts, And My name is to be feared among the nations.”

Malachi 1:14

Do we make unnecessary promises and then don’t follow through? Realize the LORD knows all, so why would we try to deceive Him with false statements and promises!

“But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”

Matthew 5:37

We need to make what we say understandable. Let’s be clear of what we say and what we do! Also, let us follow through on promises, If we promise it then let’s do it!

“Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”

Psalm 29:2

Today, if we make vows and promises, let’s keep them! Remember, the LORD knows all and see all! Have a blessed day in Him.

Listen to the LORD

“Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, And let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, And blessed be those who bless you!”

Genesis 27:29

What a interesting story here of a dysfunctional family all jockeying for the blessing of the LORD! What’s funny is the LORD had already promised all this to Jacob.

“But the children struggled together within her; and she said, If all is well, why am I like this? So she went to inquire of the LORD. And the LORD said to her: Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”

Genesis 25:22-23

The bottom line is we need to just listen to the LORD and for His voice! He means what He says and does what He says! His promises always come through!

“Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.”

Hosea 14:9

Understand that we don’t need to manipulate things to get blessings or to even look good! All we need to do is listen to the LORD! Everything we need to know is covered in His word, so let us read our Bibles and pray! Hope and pray your day is blessed!

Let’s be harvesters!

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him.”

Genesis 26:12

The LORD desires us to sow, reap and harvest also. He wants us to sow spiritual seeds and be part of His harvest by sharing His salvation!

“But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty.”

Matthew 13:23

When we hear His word, we should have a desire to do His word, and as we do what He says we receive that spiritual blessing! The LORD really wants us to be blessed, just going through life filled with His joy!

“Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways.”

Psalm 128:1

Today, let us walk in His ways, sharing His salvation and being filled with His blessings! May your day be richly blessed.
