God’s Word guides

“Moshe paid attention to his father-in-law’s counsel and did everything he said.“
Exodus 18:24 CJB

What does this mean? That we should listen more than we speak! Moses father—in—law wasn’t a believer that we know of for sure! But God still used him mightily to help Moses, so we are foolish when we don’t listen to people! Listen then use the Word of Godto filter what they say!

“Someone who is already wise will hear and learn still more; someone who already understands will gain the ability to counsel well;
he will understand proverbs, obscure expressions, the sayings and riddles of the wise.”
Proverbs 1:5-6 CJB

We should never think we know it all, it is God who gives us wisdom and understanding! So we should always seek God and His wisdom, so we can discern what people say!

“For Adonai gives wisdom; from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.”
Proverbs 2:6 CJB

How do we hear from the mouth of God? By being in His Word! So when believers and non—believers speak we have the Word of God to guide us to what is right!
Have a blessed day seeking God!

Trust Adonai

“Then`Amalek came and fought with Israel at Refidim.”
Exodus 17:8 CJB

They just went through the trial of having no water and now they are being attacked by Amalek. This is how life goes. We go from one trial and then to the next!

“I have said these things to you so that, united with me, you may have shalom (peace). In the world, you have tsuris (tribulation). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

Even though we can have trial after trial in life, if we stay united with Yeshua, we will always have shalom!

“Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.”
Psalm 46:10 CJB

Understand the world around us is completely hostile, especially towards God and HIs people! What should we do? Trust in Adonai no matter what the situation might be!
Have a blessed day in trusting in Him!

God will get you through!

“There in the desert the whole community of the people of Israel grumbled against Moshe and Aharon.”
Exodus 16:2 CJB

Even after they saw all God did, the ten plagues, wiping out the Egyptian army and guiding them by a flaming cloud pillar! You’d think they would trust Him. Do we do the same? Seeing how God gets us through and then we don’t trust!

“But soon they forgot His deeds and wouldn’t wait for His counsel.”
Psalm 106:13 CJB

God does great things and we should remember the things He has already done, knowing He’ll do it again!

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

So don’t stress at the ups and downs of the world, but instead trust in Adonai who will come through every time!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

God reigns

“Adonai will reign forever and ever.”
Exodus 15:18 CJB

We see here that Adonai, is supreme and everything He does is perfect!

“As for God His way is perfect, the word of Adonai has been tested by fire; He shields all who take refuge in Him.”
Psalm 18:31 CJB verse 30 other translations.

Even when we see the situation around us not make sense, but know no matter how insane it seems, His way is perfect!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

In other words there is never anything better than the ways of Adonai!
May your day be blessed knowing Adonai reigns!
Shabbat Shalom!
