Call upon His name

“Then Moses said to God, Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them? And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM. And He said, Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.'”

Exodus 3:13-14

This indeed is a good question, we all have asked it, who are you LORD? His reply is the same “I AM WHO I AM!’ The LORD has everything we need, He is the greatest gift to mankind, the greatest gift we can ever receive!

“Your name, O LORD, endures forever, Your fame, O LORD, throughout all generations.”

Psalm 135:13

We all need to spend some time today calling on His name!

“Look to Me, and be saved, All the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”

Isaiah 45:22

Today, realize, there is nothing that can save you but the LORD! Not your intellect, your bank account, your humor or anything else you can come up with! Only the LORD!

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Matthew 1:21

Realize, we all need to be saved and the only one who can is the LORD! So call upon His name ‘JESUS’ and allow Him to take you out of the bondage of this world!

Have a blessed day.

Talk to the LORD first

“Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.”

Exodus 2:11

Like Moses, how often do we intervene without looking up first, without calling on the LORD! Do we take things into our own hands or do we call upon the LORD?

“In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me.”

Psalm 86:7

Sad to say, we usually take things into our own hands, then call on the LORD, to fix our messes!

“It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.”

Psalm 118:8

Today, realize, the LORD has all things covered and before we act, let’s call upon the LORD and wait for Him! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD first, knowing He has all the answers!

We have peace in the LORD

“But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel.”

Exodus 1:12

It seems the more you grow in faith and the bolder you walk with the LORD, the more the world comes against you!

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

As a believer you won’t find peace in the world, but you will find it in the LORD! The more we walk with the LORD, the more uncomfortable we get with the world. You will have trials!

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.”

James 1:2

Realize, you will have various trials in life, Jesus said you would. Today, don’t be surprised when they come upon you, instead look to the LORD, count it all joy and just walk through them! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD and His peace!

What’s on your heart

“Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who brought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.”

Matthew 21:12

We all need to be reminded from time to time that we belong to God and sometimes the tables of our heart need to be overturned.

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”

1 Corinthians 3:16

Also remember the LORD paid a price for you!

“For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

1 Corinthians 6:20

Realize we belong to the LORD who paid the ultimate price for us, He gave His life so we could live! Today, let’s make our lives count for the LORD, let’s be living stones His holy temple!

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

1 Peter 2:9

Today, you may have some stuff on your heart that gets in the way of the LORD. Allow Him to overturn the tables of your heart! Then let us get out there and be living stones, shining lights that reflect the love of the LORD!

Have a blessed day!

Seek the LORD

“And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius. But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they like wise received each a denarius. And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner.”

Matthew 20:9-11

We need to be careful about focusing on what others get or don’t get! When we focus on other people it usually leads us down the road of complaining, judging and being angry! Instead, focus on the LORD, who will always give you peace!

“Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!”

1 Chronicles 16:11

We also need to realize it’s not about the amount of work or how much we get. It’s our faithfulness, our heart, and attitude as we serve or work that counts!

“Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.”

1 Samuel 12:24

Today, let’s be focused on the LORD, looking to Him in every situation! Don’t get caught up looking at the situations around you, but instead look to the LORD, the solution for everything! Remember, He has done great things, you’re saved!

Have a blessed day seeking Him!
