We belong to Him

“For to Me the people of Israel are slaves; they are My slaves whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; I am Adonai your God.”
Leviticus 25:55 CJB

We were once slaves to sin and the world, then Adonai brought us out of being slaves to sin! Now we belong to Him and we are His servants!

“Oh, Adonai! I am Your slave; I am Your slave, the son of your slave-girl; You have removed my fetters.”
Psalm 116:16 CJB

With all we may’ve going on in life, remember God has broken the fetters of sin!

“God redeemed me from going into the pit, and now my life sees light.”
Job 33:28 CJB

So don’t be distracted by the fetters of the world, but instead rejoice in the fact that you have been saved!
Have a blessed day walking in His light!

Shine

“He is always to keep in order the lamps on the pure menorah before Adonai.”
Leviticus 24:4 CJB

Just like the menorah was to be kept lit, so should we keep the light of Adonai shining in our lives!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

We should make it our goal to shine for Yeshua in everything we say and do!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

No matter what is going on around us we need to shine for Adonai and proclaim His Holy name!
Have a blessed day reflecting the light of Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Follow Adonai

“Anyone who does not deny himself on that day is to be cut off from his people.”
Leviticus 23:29 CJB

One of the hardest things we can do is to deny ourselves or admit we are wrong!

“Then Yeshua told His talmadim, If anyone wants to come after Me, let him say ‘No’ to himself, take up his execution-stake, and keep following Me.”
Matthew 16:24 CJB

Yeshua, is telling us we need to just simply learn to deny ourselves and say no! Which should lead us to put God and others first! When we deny ourselves and put God first and follow Him, life is always going to be better!

“As for God, His way is perfect, the word of Adonai has been tested by fire; He shields all who take refuge in Him.”
2 Samuel 22:31 CJB

The way of God is perfect and when we deny ourselves and place our identity in Him our lives will always be better! So let’s follow Adonai in everything!

Shine

“If it is blind, injured, mutilated, has an abnormal growth or has festering or running sores, you are not to offer it to Adonai or make such an offering by fire on the altar to Adonai.”
Leviticus 22:22 CJB

In other words we are to give God our best not our left overs!

“I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him; it is the logical “Temple worship” for you.”
Romans 12:1 CJB

God is asking us to be a living sacrifice for Him, giving Him our best! What is our best? Simply giving of ourselves holding nothing back and shining for Adonai!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, let’s give God our best and reflect His glorious light!
Have a blessed day praising Him!

Be holy

“Moshe said these things to Aharon, his sons and all the people of Israel.”
Leviticus 21:24 CJB

What is Moshe saying? That we are to be holy, set apart and not ordinary!

“On the contrary, following the Holy One who called you, become holy yourselves in your entire way of life; since the Tanakh says, You are to be holy because I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:15-16 CJB

God isn’t saying be holy, so you can be an overly pious person! He’s is asking us to be holy (not ordinary) like the rest of the unbelieving world! He wants us to be special, set apart for Him!

“Because you are a people set apart as holy for Adonai your God. Adonai your God has chosen you to be His own unique treasure out of all the peoples on the face of the earth.”
Deuteronomy 14:2 CJB

God desires us to be set apart from the world and desires us to live a God—fearing special life in Him!
Let’s have a blessed day living for Adonai!
