What the LORD is getting at here is life is filled with all kinds of obstacles and we need to trust that the LORD is going to get us through. He may not give us what we think we want, but He will get us through no matter what! We just need to trust!

“Instantly the father of the child exclaimed, I do trust-help my lack of trust!”

We all have times where we believe in the LORD, but don’t believe He is gonna deal with our little problems, we just lack trust. We need to be reminded that God is taking care of things!

“Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 CJB

Today, realize God has a plan and we are part of it. We just need to be reminded of that! How? By remembering our past situations He got us through and by going through His word, reading His promises!

“Adonai went ahead of them in a column of cloud during the daytime to lead them on their way, and at night in a column of fire to give them light; thus they could travel both by day and by night.”

The LORD gave the children of Israel a cloud to cover them from the hot sun and a fire to keep them warm at night! He also used this pillar of cloud and fire to lead them, it was their GPS (God Positioning Satellite)! The LORD guides us and leads us daily with His word today!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, we can feel lost and confused, not knowing which way to turn or go. Maybe we need to be spending more time in His word, searching for His direction!

“Teach me to do your will because you are my God. Let your good Spirit guide me on ground that is level.”
Psalm 143:10 CJB

Our God is good and desires the best for us! We need to be doing our part by searching His word for direction! Let’s spend more time in His word (God Positioning Satelite) and less time with other garbage!

Good question for us today, who do we say the LORD is? Is He our genie in a bottle who serves us or is He our LORD and King who we serve?

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

When we serve the LORD, no matter how hard things get, we will have joy in Him! We will never lose when we serve the LORD!

“Indeed, what will it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but forfeits his life?”
Mark 8:36 CJB

We need to be careful of serving ourselves, trying to get rich and gaining worldly wealth. Remember, we can’t take it with us, but we can send it ahead by serving the LORD! Today, if you want real riches, serve the LORD!

“For from within, out of a person’s heart, come forth wicked thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, indecency, envy, slander, arrogance, foolishness…. All these wicked things come from within, and they make a person unclean.”

We hear and see these things everywhere. The problem we need to ask ourselves is do we have some of these same issues? We also need to be careful of pointing fingers because, we are guilty of some of these things too!

“Create in me a clean heart, God; renew in me a resolute spirit.”
Psalm 51:12 CJB

We really need to be asking the LORD to reveal the ugliness that can be found in our heart and then we need to repent and watch the LORD clean us!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

Remember, no matter how bad we think we blow it, the LORD will always hear us when we repent and then He will clean up our hearts!

Great instruction here when you enter a place to minister, then minister until the LORD moves you on! Don’t look for a new place until you are finished! Also if you’re not being received then just move on!

“For I will proclaim the name of Adonai. Come, declare the greatness of our God.”

This is what we are all called to do, proclaim the name of the LORD, sharing His good news! What we are not to be doing is arguing and debating!

“You will guide me with Your advice; and afterwards, You will receive me with honor.”
Psalm 73:24 CJB

Today, let the LORD guide and direct us and don’t allow the world to dictate our paths!
