At what? Jesus just cast out the demons into the swine. Instead of the people being happy that the demon-possessed man was healed, they were more concerned about their financial losses! Same happens today. People call on the LORD when in need and then ask Him to leave when He conflicts with their life!

“For Adonai, God, is a sun and shield; Adonai bestows favor and honor; He will not withhold anything good from those whose lives are pure.”
Psalm 84:11 CJB

We all need to be careful of looking at God as some kind of wish grantor! He does bless us with many different things! Salvation is the biggest one, being cleansed and being healed from sin! With that said: He does desire us to walk in His ways, doing life His way!

“Make me hear of Your love in the morning, because I rely on You. Make me know the way I should walk, because I entrust myself to You.”
Psalm 143:8 CJB

Today, let’s be believers who always rely upon the LORD for our every step and every need!
May your day be richly blessed in Him!

“Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep’s clothing, but underneath are hungry wolves!”
Matthew 7:15 CJB

This is a strong warning to us from the LORD, just because a ministries, governments or preachers look like well fed sheep, be careful they could be wolves! How do we know?

“You will recognize them by their fruit. Can people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?”
Matthew 7:16 CJB

The answer is no! Again, just because something seems fruitful doesn’t make it good. We need to inspect and check everything! Some ministries may have a lot of very good looking healthy green leaves (thousands of people at church) but no fruit! We need to be fruit inspectors! An orange may taste like a really good apple, but it’s not, it’s still an orange!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear. Yes, they will stop listening to the truth, but will turn aside to follow myths.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 CJB

That time, I believe, is now and we, as believers, really need to be checking everything through the filter of scripture! Be really careful of following people who boast about how much they know! Follow people who say who they know that is Yeshua (Jesus)!

Here we see Joseph was one step closer to drawing near to his father Jacob! We are in the same position every day we get through, we are one step closer to being with our LORD!

“My home will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be My people.”
Ezekiel 37:27 CJB

Soon we will be moving out of this world (Egypt) and into the Kingdom of God, where we will see the LORD face to face!

“Dear friends, we are God’s children now; and it has not yet been made clear what will become. We do know that when He appears, we will be like Him; because we will see Him as He really is.”
1 John 3:2 CJB

Today, draw close to God, not the world, knowing the closer we are to Him, the more life we will have!

Things may look out of control and in complete chaos, but know the LORD is in complete control and His Kingdom is coming, so be part of it!

“I will show My greatness and holiness, making Myself known in the sight of many nations; then they will know that I am Adonai.”
Ezekiel 38:23 CJB

Today, let’s rejoice and be glad, knowing we belong to the LORD! So let the world around us know He is on the throne!

Again, the LORD wants us to look forward to spending eternity with Him! We also need to realize, as believers, we will have persecution! In the Talmud, which was around before Jesus and I believe it was inspired by the LORD, it says: “A person should always try to be among the persecuted rather than the persecutor.” Some good words to live by!

“Don’t let yourselves be disturbed. Trust in God and trust in Me. In My Father’s house are many places to live. If there weren’t I would of told you; because I am going there to prepare a place for you.”
John 14:1-2 CJB

We need to be reminded that this world isn’t getting better and, as believers, things are getting tougher, but don’t worry!

“The world hates you, understand that it hated Me first.”
John 15:18 CJB

The LORD warns us that if you feel hated you’re in good company! If you’re sharing the Good News of Salvation, you will be attacked!

“Dear friends, don’t regard as strange the fiery ordeal occurring among you to test you, as if something extraordinary were happening to you.”
1 Peter 4:12 CJB

All our biblical forefathers were persecuted, so realize so will we be, so don’t think it strange! Jesus says stand strong and share the love of Yeshua (God is Salvation) and in that we will find blessings!
