This is good instruction from Yitro (Jethro), Moses father in-law, don’t try to handle everything on your own! It’s good advice for us to heed also, we can’t do it all!

From time to time we may think that we are in control, which we are not! Also we, at times, believe that it won’t get done or done right if we don’t do it, but we are only fooling ourselves! That is how we burn out! We all need to just follow and lean upon the LORD!

We may have tests, we may have messes, but our LORD doesn’t want us stressed! He wants us to walk in His peace! Today, don’t be afraid to ask for help, especially from the LORD!

I find it interesting that Yeshua doesn’t answer them. Why? I believe Yeshua doesn’t answer them because we are guilty as charged and there’s nothing He can say in our defense. All He can do is pay the price for our sins! And that is a real comfort to me, because there is no defense for our sins!

What a gift the LORD has given us: salvation. He paid our debt for our sins! This should lead us to love Him and a desire to just keep His commands!

Today, let’s focus on how good the LORD is to us and how much He loves us! Also let us be constantly reminded that He paid the ultimate price for our salvation!

Only the LORD knows the day and the hour, so we need to stay alert and be awake! We can get caught up in just watching the world and its events go by. We really need to be aware of the world and be watching for the LORD!

Be on guard and aware of our surroundings, don’t be afraid because the LORD is our fortress!

“And what I say to you, I say to everyone: stay alert!”

Remember, we don’t really know what day the LORD is coming, but we know He is coming even sooner than we may think! So stay alert and be watching for the LORD!

As we see paganism happening ever so increasingly today, and the world is rejecting believers in Yeshua, we need to remember Yeshua was rejected also and He allowed it to happen! It’s all according to His plan!

As difficult as things are getting in the world around us, we need to just keep our eyes focused on the LORD!

“Yeshua answered, The most important is, Sh`ma Israel, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echoed[Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one], and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding and with all your strength.”

No matter what, we are to love the LORD and serve Him. He’ll never let us down or reject us! Understand the world and its belongings will always let you down.

“The second is this: You are to love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other mitzvah greater than these.”

Today, the world may be falling apart and pressing in on us, but don’t worry just rejoice! We may be rejected and neglected by people, but we are still to love them!

I find it interesting that no matter how flawed we may be or how useless we think we are, the LORD has a need for us! It’s not because of our intellect, skills or popularity, it’s because He loves us and it gives Him great joy to see us used for His purpose!

Today, we really need to be listening for the instruction of the LORD. The best way to get that is to be digging into His word! Also, no matter how you may feel, know that the LORD takes great joy and pleasure in us!
