When the LORD speaks, it’s because the LORD has good words for us that will benefit our lives greatly!

Realize, the LORD is always speaking to us, He’s always giving us directions and instructions, but are we listening?

“After the earthquake, fire broke out; but Adonai was not in the fire. And after the fire came quiet, subdued voice.”
1 Kings 19:12 CJB

There is a lot of noise out there! Noisy politicians, news media and social media. Realize the LORD isn’t loud and noisy! We just need to be quiet and listen for His still small voice. Why? Because He is speaking!

What things? The world’s hatred towards Yeshua and us! What is strange is that many believers today want to be liked by the world, so they will put their guard down and compromise! Let’s not be surprised when persecution and hatred starts happening to us!

“Dear friends, don’t regard as strange the fiery ordeal occurring among you to test you, as if something extraordinary were happening to you.”
1 Peter 4:12 CJB

Just like the LORD, who has been kicked out of schools, government buildings, homes and even some churches, we shouldn’t be surprised when it happens to us!

“I have said these things to you so that, united with Me, you may have shalom. In the world, you have tsuris (tribulation). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

Today. let’s not be freaked out or panicked by the world, but instead let’s walk in the shalom of Adonai!

As we see the hostility towards believers happening around us, we need to understand it isn’t really directed towards us, it’s directed at the LORD! We just happen to be in the way!

“If you belonged to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world-on the contrary, I have picked you out of the world-therefore the world hates you.”
John 15:19 CJB

Because we belong to the LORD and we are His children, we should feel extremely uncomfortable in the world because the world has an extreme hatred towards Yeshua and His followers!

“Remember what I told you, A slave is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you too; if they kept My word, they will keep yours too.”
John 15:20 CJB

What Yeshua is getting at here is the world is hostile towards Him! So we shouldn’t be surprised when it’s hostile towards us! Also if you are in the world and feel comfortable in it, be careful! May your day be richly blessed in the LORD, remember this world is not our home!

If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

When we love someone, we will listen to them and try do the things that make them happy by doing what they say!

“Whoever has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me, and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”
John 14:21 CJB

The LORD really wants us to live in His ways and walk in His ways! Life will always be better for us when we walk in His ways. We will have peace in Him!

“What I am leaving with you is shalom (peace)- I am giving you My shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

Today, don’t get caught up in listening to the world, but instead listen to the LORD and walk in His ways and live in His shalom!
May the peace of the LORD be upon you today!

“Yeshua answered him, You don’t understand yet what I am doing, but in time you will understand.”

Often times we don’t understand what the LORD is doing, but He will make us understand in His timing, not ours!

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

We all need to do what the LORD says even when we don’t understand! Just dedicate our lives to the LORD and He will do the rest.

“Trust I Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him; then He will level your paths. Don’t be conceited about your own wisdom; but fear Adonai, and turn from evil.”
Proverbs 3:5-7 CJB

Today, even when we don’t understand what is going on, remember the LORD does and He has us covered, so let’s just walk in His ways!
