God is in control

“Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? They killed those who told in advance about the coming of the Tzaddik (Chosen One), and now you have become His betrayers and murderers!”
Acts 7:52 CJB

Pretty sobering words here. When the prophets talked about Yeshua, they were beaten and put to death! When John the Baptist spoke of Yeshua, he also was put to death! So when we talk about Yeshua, we shouldn’t be surprised when we are persecuted and even killed for His sake.

“Adonai your God will put all these curses on your enemies, on those who hated and persecuted you.”
Deuteronomy 30:7 CJB

Persecution happens and it will happen even more in the days to come. The more we talk about Yeshua, the more persecution will happen! Don’t worry the LORD will deal with His enemies!

“And indeed, all who want to live a godly life united with the Messiah Yeshua will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves.”
2 Timothy 3:12-13 CJB

Today, let’s not get discouraged, but instead be encouraged when we see the evil happening around us, because the Day of the LORD is near and we have more opportunities to pray and share!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Don’t be fake!

“Fire came forth from the presence of Adonai, consuming the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it they shouted and fell on their faces.”
Leviticus 9:24 CJB

Here we see the LORD consuming the sin offering. We need to remember it is He who takes away sin! We just need to confess and repent!

“But Nadav and Avihu, sons of Aharon, each took his censer, put fire in it, laid incense on it, and offered unauthorized fire before Adonai, something he had not ordered them to do.”
Leviticus 10:1 CJB

We just saw the LORD consume the sin offering and take it away, the people fell on their faces and worshipped God! Then Nadav and Avihu tried to duplicate it, which the LORD never told them to do! Be careful of trying to duplicate and do things that the LORD hasn’t asked us to do!

“For I am Adonai your God; therefore, consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am holy; and do not defile yourselves with any kind of swarming creature that moves along the ground.”
Leviticus 11:44 CJB

Realize, the LORD really wants us set apart from the world (holy). He doesn’t want us to be pretend believers, but real believers in Him! Be careful of doing things the LORD hasn’t asked you and I to do! Just be holy(not ordinary) and set apart for Him!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Share about the LORD

“So the word of God continued to spread. The number of talmidim in Yerushalayim increased rapidly, and a large crowd of cohanim were becoming obedient to the faith.”
Acts 6:7 CJB

Like the disciples, when we stay obedient to serving, learning and sharing about God, many will come to faith in Yeshua, even some of the most hardened people!

“For I will proclaim the name of Adonai. Come declare the greatness of our God!”
Deuteronomy 32:3 CJB

We are all called to share about the LORD everywhere we go!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s proclaim, share and exalt the name of the LORD! Let’s share how great He is with everyone, because the world needs Yeshua more than ever now!
May your day be blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be bold

“But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop them; you might even find yourselves fighting God! They heeded his advice.”
Acts 5:39 CJB

Anything and anyone who goes against God will fail! We may get beaten up, but with the LORD we will never fail!

“After summoning the emissaries and flogging them, they commanded them not to speak in the name of Yeshua, and let them go. The emissaries left the Sanhedrin overjoyed at having been considered worthy of suffering disgrace on account of Him.”
Acts 5:40-41 CJB

Here we see the disciples told not to preach about Yeshua and were beat for it! Did they stop? No! They left excited! Is this how we feel after we were beat up for the name of Yeshua?

“And not for a single day, either in the Temple court or in private homes, did they stop teaching and proclaiming the Good News that Yeshua is the Messiah.”
Acts 5:42 CJB

Today, let’s not be discouraged by the world’s hatred towards God, but let’s get excited about sharing His Good News!
Have a blessed day!

Talk about Yeshua

“So they called them in again and ordered them under no circumstances to speak or teach in the name of Yeshua.”
Acts 4:18 CJB

We hear the same today, that we shouldn’t talk about Yeshua! We are told not to speak about Him at work, on social media and in school! We see the world trying to kick God out from everywhere!

“But Kefa (Peter) and Yochanan (John) answered, You must judge whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than God.”
Acts 4:19 CJB

No matter who tells us not to speak about Yeshua, we are to listen to God, not man!

“As for us, we can’t help talking about what we have actually seen and heard.”
Acts 4:20 CJB

Today, we can see that it’s getting harder to talk about the LORD. We will always be better off listening to God rather than man!
May your day be richly blessed talking and sharing about Yeshua!
