Our hope is in the LORD

“But not only that, let us also boast in our troubles; because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope; and this hope does not let us down, because God’s love for us has already been poured out in our hearts through the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) who has been given to us.”
Romans 5:3-5 CJB

This can be a hard thing to hear that we should boast in tribulation! But, with that said, troubles always makes us stronger and builds our faith in the LORD giving us hope!

“Be strong, and fill your hearts with courage, all of you who hope in Adonai.”
Psalm 31:24 CJB

When we lose hope we can fall into despair! So what we need to understand, trials and tribulations should help us to focus and look to the LORD for all our help!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, realize, the LORD allows tribulation to happen to strengthen us in Him!
Have a blessed day placing our hope in the LORD!

It’s all gonna work out!

“For what does the Tanakh say? Avraham put his trust in God, and it was credited to his account as righteousness.”
Romans 4:3 CJB

This is what the LORD wants of His children for us to simply trust Him in everything!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Often times we can get caught up in what we see going on around us, even making things up in our minds that will never happen and then worrying about them! What we need to do is simply trust the LORD!

“Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according with His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 CJB

The best thing we can do is to totally put our trust and hope in the LORD for everything!

“So trust comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through a word proclaimed about the Messiah.”
Romans 10:17 CJB

Today, seeing all the craziness going on in the world around us, as believers we need to put our total trust in the LORD! How? By being in His word as much as we can and just loving the LORD!
Have a blessed day trusting the LORD!

Are you saved?

“Since all have sinned and come short of earning God’s praise. By God’s grace, without earning it, all are granted the status of being considered righteous before Him through the act redeeming us from our enslavement to sin that was accomplished by Messiah Yeshua.”
Romans 3:23-24 CJB

Yes we have all sinned and deserve to rot in hell! But, because the LORD gave us the opportunity to confess our sin and be saved by His love, we won’t be in hell!

“In My Father’s house are many places to live. If there weren’t, I would have told you; because I am going to prepare a place for you. Since I am going and preparing a place for you, I will return to take you with Me; so that where I am, you may be also.”
John 14:2-3 CJB

How amazing the Creator of the universe not only saves us, but is making a place for us to live with Him!

“Adonai is alive! Blessed is my Rock! Exalted be the God of my salvation.”
Psalm 18:47 CJB

Today, may your day be richly blessed knowing that we are saved!

Rest

“But in the seventh year is to be a Shabbat of complete rest for the land, a Shabbat for Adonai; you will neither sow your field nor prune your grapevine.”
Leviticus 25:4 CJB

The LORD really wants us to take a rest, not just from work, but from hobbies, social media and recreational activities to name a few things! He really wants us to rest! Why? Because we need to rest in Him!

“Show me favor, God, show me favor; for in You I have taken refuge. Yes, I will find refuge in the shadow of Your wings until the storms have passed.”
Psalm 57:1 CJB

The idea here of taking rest and refuge in the LORD until the storms have passed is the fact that the storms will never pass on this earth! We will always have storms, but we will always have rest and refuge in the LORD!

“Keep My Shabbats, and revere My sanctuary; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 26:2 CJB

Today, let’s keep our eyes fixed and focused on the LORD and let’s rest in Him!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

The LORD is good

“Or perhaps you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance and patience; because you don’t realize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to turn from your sins.”
Romans 2:4 CJB

We have the word of the LORD that shows us how rotten we are, but it also shows us how good He is! When we realize how bad we are, we see how kind He is by granting us salvation!

“When I acknowledge my sin to You, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, I will confess my offenses to Adonai; then You, You forgave the guilt of my sin.”
Psalm 32:5 CJB

We all should really be filled with joy knowing we are not going to hell, but instead get to live out all eternity with the LORD in His amazing kingdom!

“Come, let’s sing to Adonai! Let’s shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation!”
Psalm 95:1 CJB

Today, we all have so much to be thankful for, because we are saved!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
