“I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it; and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; but after I had swallowed it, my stomach turned bitter.”
Revelation 10:10 CJB

This is often how it goes: the word of God is always super sweet, but then when we digest it a bit, it can turn bitter!

“How sweet to my tongue is Your promise, truly sweeter than honey in my mouth!”
Psalm 119:103 CJB

Again, the word of God is sweet and His promises are even sweeter, but when we realize just how many people around us reject and ignore them, it can make us bitter!

“Yerushalayim! Yerushalayim! You kill the prophets! You stone those who are sent to you! How often I wanted to gather your children, just as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you refused!’
Matthew 23:37 CJB

Today, understand as believers the word of God is sweet! It’s hard to share that Good News with people who reject and deny! Take courage. Yeshua had the same problem, so we are in good company!
Have a blessed day sharing the truth!

Repent

“Nor did they turn from murdering, their involvement with the occult and with drugs, their sexual immorality or their stealing.”
Revelation 9:21 CJB

What we see here is the world continuing in sin no matter how bad things around them are getting! Instead of simply repenting, they just dig deeper into sin!

“When I acknowledge my sin to you, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said I will confess my offenses to Adonai, then You, You forgave the guilt of my sin.”
Psalm 32:5 CJB

The easiest thing any of us can do is simply just repent of our sins! The problem we see in the world is they don’t believe they have any sin, this includes many believers also!

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 CJB

Yes we all have sinned and deserve to rot in hell! But, the LORD gave us the opportunity to confess our sin and be saved by His love. We won’t be in hell if we confess and repent!
Today, give it all to the LORD!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Pray

“When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for what seemed like a half an hour.”
Revelation 8:1 CJB

Why is there silence in heaven? One view is that the LORD is hearing our prayers and is taking time to read them, so to speak!

“I cry aloud to God, aloud to God; and He hears me.”
Psalm 77:1 CJB

That’s right! He hears us no matter what we may think. Remember He answers in His timing!

“You give me Your shield, which is salvation; Your answers make me great.”
2 Samuel 22:36 CJB

Today, know the LORD hears you, is answering you and will make all things right!
Have a blessed day praying with the LORD!

God has it all!

“Then I myself will bring a flood of water over the earth to destroy from under heaven every living thing that breathes; everything on earth will be destroyed.”
Genesis 6:17 CJB

The key here is the LORD says I Will do it! Meaning He doesn’t need our help, just our praise, He will take care of everything!

“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever! Amen.”
Romans 11:36 CJB

We all need to really get our focus off the world and its messes and put it on the LORD who blesses (makes happy)! The sad thing today, is we focus on politics, mandates and even diseases more than the LORD!

“In God-I praise His word-in God I trust; I have no fear; what can human power do to me?”
Psalm 56:4 CJB

The answer is nothing, it is God who wields all the power!
So today, let’s just look to the LORD for everything!
May your day be richly blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!

Forever

“Amen! Praise and glory, wisdom and thanks, honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen!”
Revelation 7:12 CJB

This is awesome because forever starts now, we get to praise every hour of every day!

“Arise, Adonai, in Your strength; and we will sing and praise You.”
Psalm 21:13 CJB

Everything is in the strength and glory of the LORD! Be really careful of getting caught up in the distractions of life, and there are many, but instead be caught up in the LORD!

“For the Lamb at the center of the throne will shepherd them, will lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”
Revelation 7:17 CJB

Today, really look to the LORD more! There is nothing more important than Him!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
