God never changes

“God is not a human who lies or a mortal who changes his mind. When He says something, He will do it; when He makes a promise, He will fulfill it.”
Numbers 23:19 CJB

I’m so glad we don’t serve a God who changes His mind. He means what He says and says what He means! Our God is solid and totally reliable!

“For Adonai is good, His grace continues forever, and His faithfulness lasts through all generations.”
Psalm 100:5 CJB

Yes, Adonai is good and His grace never ends, He never changes nor does His ways! It is us who need to change from our stubborn and wicked ways!

“The grass dries up, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever.”
Isaiah 40:8 CJB

Today, let’s be grateful that we don’t serve a wishy—washy God, unlike the constantly mind—changing world we have around us! We serve a God who is steadfast and is never confused, but is always perfect in every way!
Have a blessed day standing on the solid Rock of God!

Trust

“But his servants approached him and said, My father! If the prophet had asked you to do something really difficult, wouldn’t you have done it? So, doesn’t it make sense to do what he says, when it’s only, Bathe, and be clean?”
2 Kings 5:13 CJB

The same goes for us. Adonai doesn’t ask us to do anything hard or difficult to be saved!

“When I acknowledged my sin to You, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, I will confess my offenses to Adonai; then you, you forgave the guilt of my sin.”
Psalm 32:5 CJB

It isn’t difficult to be saved. Confess, repent and trust is all that is really required! Confess you’re a sinner, repent of your sins and trust in Adonai, walking in His ways!

“In God- I praise His word-in God I trust; I have no fear; what can human power do to me?”
Psalm 56:4 CJB

Today, realize, doing life God’s way is really not difficult. Just trust Him and know the world can do nothing to you!
Have a blessed day trusting Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Don’t be a jackass

“The donkey said to Bil’am, I’m your donkey, right? You’ve ridden me all your life, right? Have I ever treated you like this before? No, he admitted.”
Numbers 22:30 CJB

I don’t know what is crazier, the donkey talking or Bil`am talking and answering the donkey? What we should get out of this though is, don’t ignore what Adonai tells us, just be obidient!

“God answered Bil`am, You are not to go with them; you are not to curse the people , because they are blessed.”
Numbers 22:12 CJB

We also need to be careful who we pass judgment on, or ridicule, no matter how many foolish, stupid or even evil things they say!

“My mouth will proclaim the praise of Adonai; all people will bless His holy name forever and ever.”
Psalm 145:21 CJB

Today, let’s not act like a Bil’am (the real jackass here), but let’s act like godly people who God has called us to be! We can call out evil, but it’s not our job to curse or judge!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Have no fear

“Adonai said to Moshe, Don’t be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you with all his people and his land. You will treat him just as you did Sichon, king of Emori, who lived as Heshbon.”
Numbers 21:34 CJB

How much do we miss out on from Adonai when we walk in fear of the world around us?

“Now He has brought us to this place and given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.”
Deuteronomy 26:9 CJB

We can’t walk around in fear, we need to walk around in His victory and enjoy the life of salvation He has given us! The best way of showing His victory is by sharing His salvation with others!

“You will not fear the terrors of night or the arrow that flies by day.”
Psalm 91:5 CJB

Today, don’t fear the world and its troubles know that Adonai has defeated all the enemies and we can walk boldly in His victory!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Trust

“But Adonai said to Moshe and Aharon, Because you did not trust in Me, so as to cause Me to be regarded as holy by the people of Israel, you will not bring this community into the land I have given them.”
Numbers 20:12 CJB

Two things here first: Moshe didn’t trust Adonai and second: he misrepresented Him to the people! We also need to be careful of doing the same. When we do, we really miss out on the blessings!

“Look at the proud: he is inwardly not upright; but the righteous will attain life through trusting faithfulness.”
Habakkuk 2:4 CJB

We need to be faithful and obedient to God, trusting everything He says and then doing it!

“Those who know Your name put their trust in You, for you have not abandoned those who seek you, Adonai.”
Psalm 9:10 CJB

Today, don’t misrepresent God. Even though it may be hard, difficult and inconvenient to follow Him, just do it, because He will always bless us when we are faithful!
Have a blessed day trusting and obeying!
