Circumcision is a picture of removing the flesh or sin, showing you are serious about following God. Before the children of Israel can move into the promised land, this flesh needed to be removed! Notice God then gives them time to rest and heal after the removal!

“Adonai said to Y’hoshua, Today I have rolled off from you the stigma of Egypt. This is why the place has been called Gilgal [rolling] ever since.”
Joshua 5:9 CJB

Once the flesh has been removed, God renews and restores! Egypt is always a picture of the world, living in the flesh and lusting after it! Let’s be so glad that Adonai rolls away the flesh for us so we can live for Him!

“Adonai is alive! Blessed is my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock of my salvation.”
2 Samuel 22:47 CJB

Today, don’t get caught up in the flesh of Egypt, instead allow God to roll it away and then be caught up in Him!

Like the children of Israel, we all need reminders of the great things Adonai has done! These stones were to be a reminder for the children of Israel. What reminders do we have so we can share the good things of Adonai!

“Only fear Adonai, and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; for think what great things He has done for you!”
1 Samuel 12:24 CJB

If we think back to all the great things that Adonai has done for us and the messes He has gotten us out of, that should leave us with a heart and desire to serve Him and fear living without Him!

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

Today, let’s let our lives be a memorial to Him, living stones to remind us of the great things He has done and will do!

We really need to start, looking at every day as a fresh start a new day for Adonai to do something amazing!

“[On the contrary,] they are new every morning! How great your faithfulness!”
Lamentations 3:23 CJB

Today, let’s look at everyday as a new start, a new adventure and a new day that Adonai has made!

I believe the world around us has a certain fear of Adonai, whether they admit it or not! The problem is the world doesn’t desire to submit unto Him, but instead fights His people in hopes of removing God from the world! We just need to look for the Rahabs who want to join with God’s people and not fear the ones trying to destroy us!

“Truly Adonai has handed over all the land to us, they told Y`hoshua. Everyone in the land is terrified that we’re coming.”

One thing most of the world fears is death, because it is the unknown. We, as believers, know or at least should know that when we breathe our last breath here we will breath our first breathe in the promised land with Adonai! Again, our jobs are to find the Rahabs who want to join us! So today, let’s spy out the land, looking for them!

“All day long my mouth will tell of Your righteous deeds and acts of salvation, though their number is past my knowing.”

Today, share Good News of Salvation, there are people who still want to hear about it!

Like Joshua, we need to be strong, bold and courageous as we go out into the world! Remember, God is always with us wherever we go!

“They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you, says Adonai, to rescue you.”

There will always be battles in life. We all have difficulties at one time or another, we just need to remember that Adonai is right beside us and also goes out before us!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

Today, let’s really be focused on Adonai and not the enemies before us, whether they be health, finances or just life’s events. Know that Adonai is right there with us, strengthening us to get us through to be with Him!
