Cling to Adonai

“Therefore be very firm about keeping and doing everything written in the book of the Torah of Moshe and not turning aside from either to the right or to the left.”
Joshua 23:6 CJB

We need to do all that Adonai has instructed us to do through His word! We also need to be careful of picking and choosing what we like and dislike!

“Then you won’t become like those nations remaining among you. Don’t even mention the name of their gods, let alone have people swear by them, serve or worship them; but cling to Adonai your God, as you have done to this day.”
Joshua 23:7-8 CJB

The best thing we can do in life is cling to Adonai, knowing He has a firm grip on you!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB (13:4 in other translations)

Today, as we see the foolishness of the world around us, we need to cling to Yeshua even more!
Have a blessed day holding onto Adonai!

We need fellowship

“All this time you have not abandoned your kinsmen but have obeyed your commission, as Adonai your God ordered.”
Joshua 22:3 CJB

We, as believers, really need to stick together! Why? Because as the world gets increasingly more evil, we will really need each other!

“And let us keep paying attention to one another, in order to spur each other on to love and good deeds, not neglecting our own congregational meetings, as some have made a practice of doing, but, rather, encouraging each other. And let us do this all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25 CJB

No matter where we look today, we would be in denial if we can’t see the Day of the LORD fast approaching! Knowing this should give us a great desire to be in fellowship with other believers!

“I was glad when they said to me, The house of Adonai! Let’s go!”
Psalm 122:1 CJB

Today, let’s realize how much we need each other as we see the world getting darker!
Have a blessed day seeking out other believers to fellowship with!

God keeps His promises

“So Adonai gave Israel all the land which He swore to give to their ancestors, and they took possession of it and lived in it.”
Joshua 21:41 CJB

God always does what He says and keeps all His promises! He never fails. It is we who have doubt and failures!

“Adonai, who is righteous, is there among them; He never does anything wrong. Every morning He renders His judgment, every morning, without fail; yet the wrongdoer knows no shame.”
Zephaniah 3:5 CJB

Everything God does is right and perfect, nothing He does is wrong! Sadly the world around us has no shame and goes against God’s righteousness!

“Pride goes before destruction, and arrogance before failure.”
Proverbs 16:18 CJB

Today, know this, we will always be better off seeking and walking in God’s righteous ways. Knowing He keeps all His promises! Be careful of walking in the prideful arrogance of the world!
Have a blessed day In Adonai!

Spy out the land

“Send men on your behalf to reconnoiter the land of Kena`an, which I am giving to the people of Israel. From each ancestral tribe send someone who is a leader in his tribe.”
Numbers 13:2 CJB

We all need to be spying out the land before us, looking for our next ministry opportunity!

“Sing to Adonai, all the earth! Proclaim His victory day after day!”
1 Chronicles 16:23 CJB

We need to find ministry opportunities and then proclaim and share the Good News of Salvation!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt his name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s be spying out land and proclaiming salvation!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

God is our refuge

“These were the cities selected for all the people of Israel and for the foreigner living among them, so that anyone who kills any person by mistake could flee there and not die at the hand of the next-of-kin avenger prior to standing trial before the community.”
Joshua 20:9 CJB

So love this that God provides Israel with a city of refuge, which we all need! We are all guilty of doing something wrong and we should rejoice in the fact that Yeshua is our refuge!

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1 CJB

We can and do have problems in life, but remember, God is bigger than all our problems. Even though the world really is out to get us, God has provided Himself as our refuge!

“Therefore we are unafraid, even if the earth give way, even if the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea, even if its waters rage and foam, an the mountains shake at its turbulence. (Selah) There is a river whose streams gladden the city of God, the holy habitation of `Elyon.”
Psalm 46:2-4 CJB

Today, know that as bad and unsettling as the world gets around us, we have a refuge in God!
May your day be richly blessed.
Shabbat Shalom!
