Worship God

“But who is equal to building Him a house? Why, heaven itself, even the heaven of heavens, cannot contain Him; so who am I to build Him a house, except to offer sacrifices before Him?”
2 Chronicles 2:5 CJB verse 6 in other translations.

The answer to this question is no one is able to build anything that can house or contain God! Even though many churches, people and religious organizations try. Churches and Synagogues are places to worship and learn of God, not places to try and contain God!

“Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!”
Psalm 47:6 CJB

We all need to be careful of trying to put God in a box, because He will never fit in any box, building or any other structure we can come up with! What we need to do is praise Him and constantly be in awe of how great He is!

“But Adonai-Tzva’ot (LORD of hosts)-consecrate Him! Let Him be the object of your fear and awe!”
Isaiah 8:13 CJB

Today, don’t try to box Adonai in, but instead openly and freely worship Him wherever you are and wherever you go!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom

God is forgiving

“Shalom said God, You showed much grace to your servant David my father and have made me king in his place.”
2 Chronicles 1:8 CJB

The good news here is that God shows us all so much grace! David blew it so many times: adultery, murder and disobedience, but God showed him grace still! Why? Because God loved him and he simply repented!

“Or perhaps you despise the riches of His kindness forbearance and patience; because you don’t realize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to turn from your sins (repent).”
Romans 2:4 CJB

We really are so blessed by the kindness of God! Why? Like David, we are all dirty rotten sinners, but our God is so gracious and forgiving!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

Today, let’s take a good look at what sins we may have and repent! Then we can see our gracious God forgive!
Have a blessed day living in the grace of God!

Hope in Adonai

“For in your presence we are temporary residents, just passing through, as all our ancestors were-our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.”
1 Chronicles 29:15 CJB

The point here is our days on earth are numbered. We are just passing through! If we put our hope in this life we will be disappointed, but when we put our hope in Adonai, we will be satisfied!

“Dear friends, I urge you as aliens and temporary residents not to give in to the desires of your old nature, which keep warring against you; but to live such good lives among the pagans that even though they now speak against you as evil-doers, they will, as a result of seeing your good actions, give glory to God on the day of His coming.”
1 Peter 2:11-12 CJB

As believers, we need to live life with the hope of heaven and not put our hope in this world!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Today, realize our hope and future is in Adonai! So let’s spread that good news with those around us as we walk in this strange land! Remember we are just passing through!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!

Do life God’s way

“Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the community of Adonai, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek out all the mitzvot (commandments) of Adonai your God, so that you may continue to possess this good land and leave it as an inheritance to your descendants after you forever.”
1 Chronicles 28:8 CJB

A few things happen that are amazing for us when we follow God’s mitzvot (commandments). We will posses His good land, we will be a blessing to those around us and we will leave a good inheritance to our children! And the biggest thing is we will be a blessing to our God!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

Walking and doing life God’s way is always going to be satisfying or fruitful! His ways are always going to be the best ways for us to do life!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:3 CJB

Today, let’s look to do life God’s way, which will always be best for us!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!

God’s promises never fail

“But David did not include in the registration those twenty years old or less, because Adonai had said He would increase Israel’s numbers like the stars in the sky.”
1 Chronicles 27:23 CJB

Remember, God promised to increase the children of Israel and David, by not counting those under twenty, shows he believed Him!

“May Your grace come to me, Adonai Your salvation, as You promised.”
Psalm 119:41 CJB

God always keeps His promises, no matter what! We can always count on Him!

“Be strong, be bold, don’t be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 CJB

Today, no matter how things may look, good or bad, our God has all things covered. He will keep all His promises and will never leave us or abandon us!
Have a blessed day leaning on the promises of God!
