Rejoice in Adonai today!

“Adonai said to Sh’mu’el, Listen to the people, to everything they say to you; for it is not you they are rejecting; they are rejecting Me; they don’t want me to be King over them.”
1 Samuel 8:7 CJB

Understand when we are rejected, when we share about Yeshua, it’s not you and I that are rejected, it’s God!

“They are doing to you exactly what they have been doing to Me, from the day I brought them out of Egypt until today, by abandoning Me and serving other gods.”
1 Samuel 8:8 CJB

Unfortunately, many people get upset when they are rejected! We need to actually get excited when people reject us for the name of Yeshua! When folks get upset at us, it usually means we are hitting them with the truth of salvation! So don’t give up, keep sharing!

“This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.”
Psalm 118:24 CJB

The good news is if we just look to God “On this Day” to see what He doing, instead of looking to days to come, which is why the people were rejecting God and wanted a king instead! They could see the kingdoms around them seemed to look better, being run by a corruptible king!

“Still, I will rejoice in Adonai. I will take joy in the God of my Salvation.”
Habakkuk 3:18 CJB

So let’s look to this day for Adonai and not get all caught up in things yet to come! Rejoice in Adonai today!
May your day be richly blessed!

Live righteously

“From the day that the ark arrived in Kiryat-Ye`arim a long time elapsed, twenty years; and all the people yearned for Adonai.”
1 Samuel 7:2 CJB

The Ark comes back to Israel, but for twenty years the children of Israel continued in sin! God is so good, that even when we are deep in sin, He patiently waits for us to come back to our senses and desire Him!

“Don’t be fooled. Bad company ruins good character. Come to your senses! Live righteously and stop sinning! There are some people who lack knowledge of God–I say this to your shame.”
1 Corinthians 15:33-34 CJB

God really doesn’t want us hanging out with sinners or living in sin! Why? Because they will always lead us astray and keep us in bondage! He wants us to be free in Him!

“How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, don’t stand on the ways of sinners or sit where scoffers sit!”
Psalm 1:1 CJB

We will always be better off when we reject evil and cling to God, who will always lead us in His righteous ways!
Have a blessed day clinging to Adonai walking in His ways!
Shabbat Shalom!
