Draw near to God

“The famine has been over the land for the last two years, and for yet another five years there will be neither plowing nor harvest.”
Genesis 45:6 CJB

Honestly, the way the world is going right now we are in a famine not just with material only, but spiritually also! The world desperately needs Yeshua!

“For the sake of the house of Adonai our God, I will seek your well-being.”
Psalm 122:9 CJB

As the world around us is in spiritual famine, the more we need to share the love of Yeshua!

“I said, Please Adonai! God of heaven! God of heaven! You great and fearsome God, who keeps His covenant and extends grace to those who love Him and observe His mitzvot!”
Nehemiah 1:5 CJB

Today, the closer we draw to God the more we will see Him appear in everyday situations and let us draw closer to Him in this coming year.
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

Cling to God

“Asa did what was good and right from the perspective of Adonai his God; for he removed the foreign altars and high places, smashing the standing-stones and chopping down the sacred poles.”
2 Chronicles 14:1-2 CJB

Are we doing life from God’s perspective or our own? Are we removing the foreign altars that are distracting us? If not, we need to get right with God and remove the junk!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB

The idea of following God here isn’t to fear Him, it’s to fear walking through life without Him! When we are walking and doing life the way God commands us to through His word, we have nothing to fear! We should be clinging to Him in everything!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

Today, let’s be all about doing everything the way God shows us! Hearing His words and doing them!
Have a blessed day walking with God!
Shabbat Shalom!

Battle belongs to God

“So look here! God is with us, leading us and His cohanim with the battle trumpets to sound and alarm against you. People of Israel! Don’t fight against Adonai, the God of your ancestors; because you will not succeed.”
2 Chronicles 13:12 CJB

What a great feeling when we are on the side of Adonai, knowing the battle belongs to Him! When we realize the battle is Adonai’s, then we realize we are in total victory, no matter how things may look!

“And everyone assembled here will know that Adonai does not save by sword or spear. For this is Adonai’s battle, and He will hand it over to us.”
1 Samuel 17:48 CJB

Just like David when he was going up against Goliath who was bigger, stronger and better equipped. He had no fear because the battle was Adonai’s!

“Haven’t I ordered you, Be strong, be bold? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

Today, be filled with joy knowing that our battles are already won by Adonai!
Have a blessed day knowing you belong to Adonai!

Look to God

“In response, the leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves; they said, Adonai is right.”
2 Chronicles 12:6 CJB

Adonai is always right in every situation! We need to just humble ourselves before Him!

“Humble yourselves before the LORD, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:10 CJB

Often times it is our pride that gets in the way of us being humble and showing humility!

“First comes pride, then disgrace; but with the humble is wisdom.”
Proverbs 11:2 CJB

Today, let’s put away pride and foolishness and put on the wisdom of Adonai! It’s not too hard when we look to Him for everything!
Have a blessed day in Him!

God is perfect

“This from the tribes of Israel who had set their hearts on seeking Adonai, the God of Israel, followed them to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) to sacrifice to Adonai, the God of their fathers.”
2 Chronicles 11:16 CJB

Even when the world around us is faithless, are we faithful? We see here that most of Israel was worshipping pagan gods, but yet there were some who remained faithful to Adonai!

“Love Adonai, you faithful of His; and give thanks on recalling His holiness.”
Psalm 30:4 CJB

We need to be faithful and love God, for everything He does is perfect!

“Hallelujah! Sing to Adonai a new song, His praise in the assembly of the faithful.”
Psalm 149:1 CJB

Today, let’s be all about Adonai and don’t get distracted with the foolishness of the world!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!
