Guard your heart

“He stationed guards at the gates of the house of Adonai, so that no one who was unclean in any respect could enter.”
2 Chronicles 23:19 CJB

We see here that the Israelites were guarding the house of God from unclean people entering, so should we guard our hearts from any unclean thing! Remember, because we are saved that Messiah dwells in us!

“And if the Spirit of the One who raised Yeshua from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit living in you.”
Romans 8:11 CJB

What a comfort to know that God dwells in our hearts, protecting us and guarding us from evil! So we also should be on guard on what we allow in!

“Above everything else, guard your heart; for it is the source of life’s consequences.”
Proverbs 4:23 CJB

Today, let’s be very mindful of what we allow into our hearts, because what goes in does come out!
So have a blessed day allowing only godly stuff in!

Be on guard

“He too lived after the example of the house of Ach’av (Ahab), because his mother was his counselor in acting wickedly.”
2 Chronicles 22:3 CJB

Ahaziah may be king, but his mother, the daughter of Ahab and Jezebel, two of the most wicked people in scripture, was really in charge! We always need to be careful of wicked people and their influences, whether they are co-workers, family members or political leaders. If they aren’t believers then chances are they are influenced by wickedness! Be on guard!

“Look how the wicked is pregnant with evil; he conceives trouble, gives birth to lies.”
Psalm 7:14 CJB

Understand, wicked people are always looking for ways to be more wicked and evil! Always looking for a way to trap unsuspecting believers. We just need to be watching and praying, but more importantly we need to keep our eyes on Adonai!

“My eyes are always directed toward Adonai, for He will free my feet from the net.”
Psalm 25:15 CJB

Today, don’t be dragged down by evil, but instead look up and allow Adonai to pull you up to Him!
Have a super blessed day in Adonai!

Shine for God

“Instead you have lived by the example of the kings of Israel and have caused Y’hudah and the people living in Yerushalayim to prostitute themselves, just as the house of Ach’av (Ahab) caused [Israel] to prostitute themselves. Moreover, you killed your brothers from your father’s house, men better than you. Because of all this, Adonai is going to strike your people with a terrible disease, also your children, your wives and everything you have.”
2 Chronicles 21:13-14 CJB

How do we influence people around us? Are we an example for Yeshua or of worldliness? As we see what’s happening in the world around us, we really need to be reflecting the glory of Adonai!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

We need to be doing good things and godly things not to glorify ourselves but to glorify God!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s be influencers for God and reflect His glory and greatness!
Have a blessed day being an example for God!

Trust Adonai

“Praised be God, Father of our LORD Yeshua the Messiah, who, in keeping with His great mercy, has caused us, through the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah from the dead, to be born again to a living hope.”
1 Peter 1:3 CJB

What do you hope in? Is it a paycheck, a political party or a career? If our hope is in anything other than a relationship with Yeshua we will always be let down!

“Be strong, and fill your hearts with courage, all of you who hope in Adonai.”
Psalm 31:24 CJB

Our hope should and needs to be in Adonai, for everything. When our hope is in Him, everything else will fall into place.

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Today, and everyday, we need to put all our hope and trust in Adonai! So even when bad things happen, we will see God instead of the bad!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Pray

“Y’hoshafat was frightened, so he determined to seek Adonai, He proclaimed a fast throughout all Y’hudah (Judah), and Y’hudah assembled to seek help from Adonai; they came from all the cities of Y’hudah to seek Adonai.”
2 Chronicles 20:3-4 CJB

When times are tough do we seek Adonai? When times are really tough to we gather together with the believers to seek Adonai? Seeking Adonai in every situation is the key to see the hand of God move!

“Those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You have not abandoned those who seek You, Adonai.”
Psalm 9:10 CJB

As we see times getting tougher, we need to spend more time seeking Adonai!

“When you seek Me, you will find Me, provided you seek for Me wholeheartedly.”
Jeremiah 29:13 CJB

Today, let’s be a people who spend time seeking Adonai, it’s the most important thing we can do!
Have a blessed day praying!
Shabbat Shalom!
