“Adonai tests the righteous; but He hates the wicked and the lover of violence.”
Psalm 11:5 CJB

God tests us not because He is mad at us or wants to punish us, but because He loves us! Testing is a great way for us to learn and grow in Him. In fact, that’s how we grow in Adonai!

“dear friends, don’t regard as strange the fiery ordeal occurring among you to test you, as if something extraordinary were happening to you.”
1 Peter 4:12 CJB

So testing is part of our walk with Adonai! Now understand as far as wickedness and violence go, basically sinning. We need to be real careful of saying things like God hates the sin, but loves the sinner! Understand that isn’t exactly true. God loves the repentant sinner, but the unrepentant sinner, according to this verse, and many others, God hates!

“He will rain hot coals down on the wicked, fire, sulfur and scorching wind will be what they get to drink.”
Psalm 11:6 CJB

Today, let’s be believers who share the Good News of Salvation with wicked people in the hope that they repent!

Understand God knows all and sees all, even though we may feel He doesn’t hear us or see us! We can live blindly on our own understanding or we can be humble and rely and trust God! Doing things Gods way is always going to be best!

“Why does the wicked despise God and say in his heart, It won’t be held against me”?”
Psalm 10:13 CJB

It does seem like wicked people are more successful in everything and those who truly follow after God struggle and feel forgotten! Don’t worry God’s on the job and help is always on the way!

“I have said these things to you so that, united with me, you may have shalom. In the world, you have turis (tribulation). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

Yeshua didn’t conquer tribulation, He conquered the world and all that is in it! Today, realize we have victory in Him and we are definitely not forgotten!

As the world continues to spiral out of control, we start to find the only place of safety we have is in Adonai! Understand as Israel was oppressed by gentile nations (unbelievers) so too unbelieving governments will start and have already started oppressing believers! Our hope is only in Adonai!

“Those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You have not abandoned those who seek You, Adonai.”
Psalm 9:10 CJB

Do you know Adonai and do you put your trust in Him? This is something we need to ask ourselves often, do we trust Adonai? Remember, He is always trustworthy and will never fail us!

“Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him; then He will level your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 CJB

Today, with all the events going on around us, it would really do us good to spend some time with Adonai to seek Him and His direction!

Leviticus 22:1 CJB

Interesting in this Torah portion Emor (say) this phrase “Adonai said to Moshe” is used twelve times in Leviticus 21-24! Twelve is an interesting number twelve tribes twelve Apostles! The Idea here is when God speaks we need to listen!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

God tells us through scripture to be holy, set apart and live an extraordinary life in Yeshua, not an ordinary life in the world!

“And you will be a kingdom of cohanim for me, a nation set apart. These are the words you to speak to the people of Israel.”
Exodus 19:6 CJB

Today, understand we can’t live an ordinary daily life in the world, but instead let’s step up and step out in Adonai, who has a special life in Yeshua, and tell people about His salvation!

No one can actually, with all honesty, look to the heavens and say that just happened by chance! If they do then they are really are just being dishonest! The problem with people today is: they are to busy looking at the things man created, which are puny compared to God’s creation and allow man’s creations distract them from God!

“God made the earth by His power, established the world by His wisdom spread out the sky by His understanding.”

Do we try to make God fit us or do we see how we fit into His creation, His plan and His salvation? Man tries to put God in their world view box, which is completely foolish.

“Adonai, I know that the way of humans is not in their control, humans are not able to direct their steps as they walk.”
Jeremiah 10:23 CJB

Today, we need to be honest about the fact we really don’t know as much as we think we do! What we should know and be sure of is, that God absolutely loves us! Why? Because that is what He created us for! So look to Him and His wondrous creation!
