God loves righteousness and He really hates wickedness and He will deal with it! So when we see wickedness in the world, we just need to trust that God will deal with it as He always does!

“Now Korach the son of Yitz’har, the son of K’hat, the son of Levi, along with Natan and Avram, the sons of Eli’s, and On, the son of Pelet, descendants of Reuben, took men and rebelled against Moshe. Siding with them were 250 men of Israel, leaders of the community, key members of the council, men of reputation.”
Numbers 16:1-2 CJB

Here we see this group of people rebelling against Moses, who represents God! By the end of chapter 16, we see God deal with them! The same goes in our day and age!

“Then fire came out from Adonai and destroyed the 250 men who had offered the incense.”
Numbers 16:35 CJB

God is never mocked and evil never gets away with anything! So don’t get upset with the things we see happening around us today! We just need to walk in the righteousness of God!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

Today, let’s spend more time looking to God than being upset with the world and its foolishness!

The world around us can be gloomy; finances, rumors of war and seeing a double standard in society to name just a few things! The cure is and will always be Adonai and His salvation! So let’s praise Him!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
2 Samuel 22:4 CJB

When we are looking to God and praising Him, all our difficulties always seem to just fade away! He saves us from our enemies no matter what they are!

“I will praise Adonai as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God all my life.”
Psalm 146:2 CJB

Today, instead of complaining, let’s simply just praise Adonai in everything! Why? Because we will be doing it for all eternity, so let’s start now!

This should be our prayer also for God to guide us by His light and truth! The best way to find that light and truth is to be in His word!

What a blessing to know that no matter how dark it may be, we have a perfect light in Yeshua!

“Yeshua spoke to them again; I am the light of the world; whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness but will have the light which gives life.”
John 8:12 CJB

This should comfort us as we go through our day, knowing we are guided by God Himself!

“Yeshua said, I AM the Way-and Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 CJB

Today, let’s rejoice and be glad that we have the King of kings guiding us through life!

In other words, we all can feel downcast and groaning inside! But Yeshua being our Savior and God should simply just lead us to praising Him for all the good He does!

“Therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.”

As believers in Yeshua, we need to live life with the hope of heaven and not be downcast with the messes of this world!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Today, don’t be grieved by the ungodly things going down in the world, but instead be encouraged about the beautiful future we have in Adonai!

Interesting that Psalm 40 ended with ‘I am poor and needy.” And now we see it go from poor and needy to helping the poor! The thing is we were all poor, needy and lost until Yeshua saved us! Now we get to help lead other poor and needy people to Him, this is how we are blessed (happy)!

“He who is kind to the poor is lending to Adonai; and He will repay him for his good deed.”

Not that God needs our help, He just loves us to be part of what He is doing!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, let’s look for opportunities to do kind things for other people so we can glorify God, which always leads to an opportunity to share the good news of Yeshua!
