Don’t get angry!

“Don’t be quick to get angry, for [only] fools nurse anger.”
Ecclesiastes 7:9 CJB

The problem with holding onto anger is it just makes us more and more bitter! When we hold onto anger we just fall into bitterness and sin!

“He who is quick-tempered does stupid things, and one who does vile things is hated.”
Proverbs 14:17 CJB

Anger is a real problem that the world deals with daily! We get angry at world events, people in traffic and even family members, we can and do get angry way too often! What we need to do is be calm and seek God in every situation!

“Be still before Adonai; wait patiently till He comes. Don’t be upset by those whose way succeeds because of their wicked plans.”
Psalm 37:7 CJB

Today, we all need to work on being patient and just watch and see what Adonai will do in every situation!
Have a blessed day simply just waiting on Adonai!

God conquered death

“Whatever he is, he was named long ago, and it is known that he is merely human; moreover, he cannot defeat what is mightier than he [death].”
Ecclesiastes 6:10 CJB

The truth is death really is mightier than all of us, the fact is ten out of ten people will die! It’s how we live here and now is what will count when we breathe our last! Are you living for Adonai?

“Look, I am Adonai, the God of every living creature; is there anything too hard for Me?’
Jeremiah 32:27 CJB

The good news for us who believe is that God through Yeshua conquered death! So when we do breathe our last breath here we breathe our first with Him!

“He will swallow up death forever. Adonai Elohim will wipe away the tears from every face, and He will remove from all the earth the disgrace His people suffer. For Adonai has spoken.”
Isaiah 25:8 CJB

Today, put all your trust and hope in God who has removed from us the fear of death!
Have a blessed day knowing we will spend all eternity with Adonai!

Let your words be few!

“Don’t speak impulsively-don’t be in a hurry to give voice to your words before God. For God is in heaven, and you are on earth; so let you words be few.”
Ecclesiastes 5:1 CJB verse 2 in other translations.

In other words don’t speak or make decisions under stress or emotion! Why? Often times we make wrong decisions and definitely say wrong things when we are under emotional stress!

“Out of the same mouth come blessings and cursing! Brothers, it isn’t right for things to be this way.”
James 3:10 CJB

It is a very strange thing that huge blessings can come out of one’s mouth and out of the same mouth can come huge cursing!

“I Have had to live far too long with those who hate peace.”
Psalm 120:6 CJB

Even as the world around us is getting more and more unsettling, we still should be wise, being careful and prayerful before we speak!
Have a blessed day!

Listen to God

“Watch your step when you go to the house of God. Offering to listen is better than fools offering sacrifices, because they don’t discern whether or not they are doing evil.”
Ecclesiastes 4:17 CJB 5:1 in other translations

What do we go to the house of God for? Is it to offer God sacrifice to get something or to simply just hear from Him? Hopefully it’s to hear and learn!

“I treasure Your Word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

We need to be seeking God so we can know Him better, not to try to impress Him with our useless gifts!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB

Today, know that worshipping God is the best thing we can and should do! Listen for His voice so he can direct you!
May your day be richly blessed!

We all have seasons!

“For everything there is a season, a right time for every intention under Heaven.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1 CJB

This is truth there is a season for everything! A time to be born, to die, to be sick, to be healthy, to be sad, to be happy, a time for war and a time for peace! We need to not fear the different seasons, but instead look for Adonai in everything and in every season of life!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

What God requires of us isn’t really complicated, act justly, love His grace and walk uprightly! He allows the different seasons in our lives so we can learn and grow, walking in His ways! So no matter the season good or bad, just remember God is with you all the way!

“They all go to the same place; they all come from dust, and they return to dust.”
Ecclesiastes 3:20 CJB

The things all humankind have in common is we all come from dust and will return to dust and we will all have different seasons of life! The difference is do you believe in Yeshua or not! The choice is yours to make, but know one day we will all breathe our last breath on this side of eternity are we living for Adonai or not?
Have a blessed day living for Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!
