Trust Adonai

“On that day the remnant of Israel, those of the house of Ya’akov who escaped, will no longer rely on the man who struck them down, but will truly rely on Adonai, the Holy One of Israel.”
Isaiah 10:20 CJB

There is coming a day soon and very soon I believe where people will not rely on man for their needs but will rely on God Himself! What a glorious day that will be when every knee bows and every tongue confesses!

“I have been young; now I am old; yet not once have I seen the righteous abandoned or His descendants begging for bread.”
Psalm 37:25 CJB

We may have many trials and troubles in life, but Adonai always supplies all our needs! As believers in Adonai we get to trust Him for everything here and now!

“Adonai is the one who saves the righteous; He is their stronghold in time of trouble.”
Psalm 37:39 CJB

Today, realize even if we fall into trouble and distress, our LORD will always see us through!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Do you have a clean heart

“Therefore Adonai will cut off Israel’s head and tail, [tall] palm frond and [lowly] reed in a single day. The old and the honored are the head, while prophets teaching lies are the tail. For those leading this people lead them astray, and those led by them are destroyed.”
Isaiah 9:13-15 CJB 14-16 in other translations

This was happening in Israel 2500 years ago, where God allowed the leaders of the nation to just lead without the true instruction of God! What happened to Israel? They went into seventy years of captivity! We need to be careful of the same as we have the same type of leaders today!

“Before I was humbled, I used to go astray; but now I observe Your word.”
Psalm 119:67 CJB

Ask yourself how long will we continue in disobedience either personally or corporately before God allows captivity or humbling? The best thing we can do is call on Adonai and ask Him if there is anything that needs to be changed!

“Create in me a clean heart, God; renew in me a resolute spirit.”
Psalm 51:12 CJB verse 10 in other translations.

What a great prayer for us to have is to have a clean heart and a resolute spirit! The meaning of resolute is pretty amazing (purposeful, determined and unwavering)! Is this our spirit and heart? If not we can have it by simply calling on Adonai to create in us a clean and renewed spirit!
Have a blessed day!

Seek Adonai

“So when they tell you to consult those squeaking mediums and fortune-tellers; Shouldn’t a people seek their God? Must the living ask the dead for teaching and instructions? For they will indeed give you this unenlightened suggestion.”
Isaiah 8:19-20 CJB

What Isaiah is saying here is why does anyone seek the occult, mediums and satanic entities for answers to life instead of seeking God for everything! What is sad is believers today, do the same thing!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
Psalm 105:4 CJB

We need to be seeking Adonai in everything, because it is His strength and wisdom that we need!

“He does great, unsearchable things, wonders beyond counting.”
Job 9:10 CJB

Understand God is doing and has done great and amazing things, so don’t look anywhere else for help!
Have a blessed day seeking Adonai!

Learn from God

“But Achaz answered, I won’t ask, I won’t test Adonai.”
Isaiah 7:12 CJB

What a pious statement to make. Even if we try not to test God, we all still do! God does desire us to test Him in certain things like giving, serving and learning!

“Bring the whole tenth into the storehouse, so that there will be food in My house, and put Me to the test, says Adonai-Tzva’ot. See if I won’t open the floodgates of heaven and pour out for you a blessing far beyond your needs.”
Malachi 3:10 CJB

Now God is asking us to test Him on giving, but it also can be on serving Him and learning from Him! He wants what is best for us and He will encourage us to test Him on all things!

“Examine me, Adonai, test me, search my mind and heart.”
Psalm 26:2 CJB

Understand if we want to test God, do it with things that matter like giving, serving and knowing Him better!
Have a blessed day seeking Adonai!

Share Good News

“He said, Go and tell this people:’Yes, you hear, but you don’t understand. You certainly see, but you don’t get the point!”
Isaiah 6:9 CJB

We are to tell the people how to receive salvation by repenting and confessing Yeshua as Lord and Savior. We also need to realize there will be people who simply reject us, not understanding the necessity of being saved!

“But if the people of some place or town will not welcome you or listen to you, leave it and shake its dust from your feet!”
Matthew 10:14 CJB

In other words, don’t get into senseless debates, if someone rejects you, move on!

“Make the heart of this people [sluggish with] fat, stop up their ears, and shut their eyes. Otherwise, seeing with their eyes, and hearing with their ears, then understanding with their hearts, they might repent and be healed!”
Isaiah 6:10 CJB

As you go out into your day, understand you may be the only one in your circle of co—workers, classmates, family members or neighbors who knows Adonai! God is calling us to go out and share so let’s do just that: share, the Good News of Salvation!
Have a blessed day!
