Here’s a good question to ask the body of believers today: How many of us are sighing and crying over the disgusting pagan practices we see in the world around us today? The disgusting practice of abortion on demand, the disgusting practice of pornography or the the disgusting practice of greed and gluttony?

“Then He said to me, The wickedness of the house of Israel and Judah is enormous, the land is full of blood, and the city is full of justice denied; because they say, Adonai has left the land, Adonai doesn’t see.”
Ezekiel 9:9 CJB

Adonai hasn’t left and sees all, but the people who are performing disgusting things would like to believe God doesn’t exist or He is ok with their disgusting practices! Claiming because He made them and is a loving God, they can do as they please! Don’t fall into this deception!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

Understand that God is totally loving. He forgives when we repent, but first we must repent! Also, God is not blind. He sees and knows what we are doing and just because He loves us doesn’t mean He ignores the practice of disgusting behavior! We must confess, repent and He will forgive!
Have a blessed day knowing that His kindness should lead us to repentance!

“He brought me into the inner courtyard of Adonai’s house; and there, at the entrance to the temple of Adonai, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the Temple of Adonai and their faces toward the east; and they were worshipping the sun toward the east.”
Ezekiel 8:16 CJB

Here we see men serving in the Temple of God, but looking away to worship the sun! This is the sad state of the church today! Serving in the house of God, but looking to everything else to fill their needs, money, recreation and politics to name some of the distractions! Not that any of these things aren’t helpful, but we need to look to God, who supplies all our needs!

“Moreover, my God will fill every need of yours according to His glorious wealth, in union with the Messiah Yeshua.”
Philippians 4:19 CJB

Notice it says needs, not wants. God knows what we need and it’s not the things of this world! He has everything and all we will ever need, so keep your eyes focused on Him!

“Adonai your God is right there with you, as a mighty Savior. He will rejoice over you and be glad, He will be silent in His love, He will shout over you with joy.”
Zephaniah 3:17 CJB

What great news to know that Adonai loves us unconditionally! So we should never allow anything to get in the way of worshipping Him alone!

This is the truth here, the end is coming! The question is what is important to you? Is it careers, health or your bank account? Understand the end means the world here as we know it will no longer exist the way it is now! We all are going to die and our choices here and now matter for all eternity! We are either believers or non believers, saved or unsaved!

“So stay alert, because you know neither the day nor the hour.”
Matthew 25:13 CJB

We all can get really distracted by the events of the world storms, natural disasters or man–made troubles, but even with that we need to be keeping our eyes on Adonai!

“But as for me, I will look to Adonai, I will wait for the God of my Salvation; my God will hear me.”
Micah 7:7 CJB

We need to be looking to Adonai for everything, don’t look to the world for anything!

This should be sobering, to know when we go after the shiny things of the world that it really does break our Father in Heaven’s heart! He really wants us to cling to Him and walk in His ways!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot, listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB verse 4 in other translations!

The best thing we can do in life is to cling to and serve Adonai and not follow after the disgusting shiny things of the world! How? By following God and His Word!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Today, let’s follow Adonai, not the world and its traps! Let’s not grieve our Father in Heaven, so let’s walk in His ways!
