Pray

“I, Daniel, grew weak and was ill for some days. Then I got up and took care of the king’s affairs; but I was appalled at the vision and still couldn’t understand it.”
Daniel 8:27 CJB

Like Daniel, we can grow weak, especially as we see things that are happening around us! Social injustice, misuse of the law and the biggest one, the rejection of God! We can grow weary, appalled and not understand! Know God has it all under control, but instead of whining, let’s be praying and serving!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

Like Daniel, we shouldn’t be surprised by the evil and darkness we see happening around us! What should we do? PRAY! Like Daniel did in chapter six, he dedicated three times a day to pray! It’s not legalistic at all to have specific times set apart to pray! Prayer is our best weapon against darkness and the best way to stay in contact with Adonai!

“But I will call on God, and Adonai will save me. Evening, morning and noon I complain and moan; but He hears my voice.”
Psalm 55:16-17 CJB

Yeshua (Jesus) frequently went off to be with His Father, so should we!

“Unload your burden on Adonai, and He will sustain you. He will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
Psalm 55:22 CJB

Today, as weird as the world is getting, don’t get weak and confused, but instead PRAY!
Have a blessed day calling on Adonai!

Look to God

“This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts frightened me so much that I turned pale; but I kept the matter to myself.”
Daniel 7:28 CJB

When Daniel sees the coming of world events, it troubles him deeply, keeping it to himself! When we read through the word, we too can see the coming prophetic history and it can be troubling, as we see it happening in front of our eyes!
So what are we to do? Share the good news of salvation!

“His salvation is near for those who fear Him, so that glory will be in our land.”
Psalm 85:9 CJB

Just looking around us, whether it’s the news, work, school or just going out, we can see many disturbing things, but don’t worry, Adonai is near!

“I have said these things to you so that, united with Me, you may have Shalom. In the world, you have tsuris(tribulation). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

Today, let’s not allow the troubling world events to frighten or distract us from sharing His glorious good news of salvation!

Shabbat Shalom

God protects

“But he exclaimed, look! I see four men, not tied up, walking around there in the flames, unhurt; and the fourth looks like one of the gods!”
Daniel 3:25 CJB

Not only does God protect us in the storms, He goes right through them with us!

“I have said these things to you so that, united with Me, you may have shalom. In the world you have tsuris (tribulations). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

We also can feel like the world is going to fry us and burn us up! But with Adonai, there is nothing that the world can do to us!

“With Adonai on my side, I fear nothing-what can human beings do to me?”
Psalm 118:6 CJB

The answer is NOTHING! We belong to Adonai! So we are” blood brought and bullet proof!” So, be bold and be brave and share the Good News of Salvation!

Stand up for Adonai

“Then these men descended on Daniel and found him making requests and pleading before his God.”
Daniel 6:12 CJB

These unbelieving leaders set a trap for Daniel and it was making it illegal to worship God, which they knew he would do! This same trap is being set for us today!

“Whoever acknowledges Me in the presence of others I will also acknowledge in the presence of My Father in heaven.”
Matthew 10:32 CJB

We need to never be afraid of standing up for Adonai, because He never fails us in anything! As time goes on it will be harder to do so!

“And indeed, all who want to live a godly life united with the Messiah Yeshua will be persecuted.”
2 Timothy 3:12 CJB

Today, no matter how bad it gets, we need to stand firm for Adonai. We will never be let down by Him!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
